Mebbe ya should try a US VPN?

http://www.protonvpn.com is good and has free servers in three countries, incl. the US
Thanks. I think though, after thinking about it, that my phone just doesn't have enough oompf to load all the pictures at times and just goes into meltdown. Happens on this thread and the music game one with heaps of videos. When a page is new with just a few to several posts its ok. But a dozen or more with heaps of pictures I think my Lg spits the dummy.

Was my turn tonight. Misses decided and had taken the chicken wings out of the freezer before id even woken up. She loves wings.
I love roast anything, so does she.
Did the wings with a mixture of Parsley, Oregano, Thyme, Ginger, Mild Curry, Tumeric, Black Pepper and Cayenne Pepper. Some sweet potato, pumpkin, red onion and zucchini. Zuchini goes in at the half way mark so it cooks but doesn't go to mush.
Its a lovely flavour that herbs and spices mix.

So I wasn't happy with the selection of fish so I called Mom and told her the Lobsters look nice. Naturally she said Oh Yeah~! That Sounds Good~! Had picked up my Lobster Pot from Storage so I steamed them perfectly~!

Ok, this is not actually food, but there really isn't a better suited forum for it.

Getting ready for the Mariners game with the Red Sox today.
Got a nice Seattle IPA and my Glencairn glasses came in from AMZ! :)

It REALLY does make a drastic difference in how your whisky smells and tastes (any chef will tell those things are absolutely linked).

IMG_20210423_174522.jpg

Not a shot glass. ;)

I've wanted some of these babies for like a decade. The difference in the flavor and aroma of that hella smokey scotch I got recently, served in this glass, is huuuge compared to a regular tumbler/rocks glass/Irish whiskey glass.

Yummy PopCorners popped-corn 'tortilla' chips with QuesoGuac.
I made it from my corner Mexican store's tasty homemade guac, Grilling Gods 'Southern Heat', and some Velveeta cheese sauce.

And, a shot of this just because I'm me:

Screenshot from 2021-04-28 15-58-02.png

The chips and cheese sauce packet are from the Dollar store, everything else was from my Mexi-store.

Cheap 'n EZ...just how I like 'em. ;)

Went to my Mexican store to grab a beer and some of their delicious Telera bread, but found a new brand of malt soda so I had to try it out. It's made in FL under license from Bicardi of all things. Perhaps a Cuban influence?

IMG_1029.jpg

I like it better than the Malta Goya...has more depth of flavor. Reminds me of the days of Postum...LOL...

Oh, and that blood orange IPA is the best thing ever for a hot day like this. I poured it over ice with just a splash of sparkling water and a drizzle of Mango juice. It's 81F in the living room now....arrrgh.

Milly and I are not prepared for heat just yet. And that cat sleeps on top of my bloody Yamaha A/V receiver/amp...she's nuts. 😸

Misses did another home made wholemeal pizza.
Red and yellow peppers, onion, buk choy, chicken and a light sprinkle of cheese.

I hate it when I cut an avocado and its browned inside  Especially when you pay a couple of bucks each for them.
Can't see anyones pictures today, just the videos are showing up.
Screenshot_20210502-132333(1).png

I experimented the other day. I was making my worm chow out of dehydrated fresh corn and peas and thought "hey, when I powder them ill keep some and use it like a coating on some fried chicken fillets" they taste nice enough tasting them before going into the ninja.
Final result was.....😝
Note to self "worm chow is not human chow. Dont eat it again"

Looks good B1rd1. I personally would have used that avocado it wasn't too brown, but that's me. I hate avocados that are rock hard for making guacamole.

One hint for everyone, make sure you wash your hands after chopping up any hot pepper. Rub your eyes or needing to take a leak without washing first is not fun. Taught by experience...

Lmao, it does look that way. Truth be told I couldn’t pass up the sale at the grocery so I stocked up. Coupled with the fact that one of the kids is a super picky eater and the other is learning how to cook, so I’m trying to find things that are good lessons for my protege and that the picky one will eat. I’m also not showing stuff like the burgers we did the other day or repeats of previously photographed meals.

We used to have this great chicken place near the Marina and it was an old joke. I am sick of chicken, I eat so much I get feathers when I wipe my ass. I just picked up a package of 9 breasts so split it up and froze them.

That’s what I usually do for breasts. About a month ago they had leg quarters, thighs and legs around 1.00-1.50 a pound. I could not pass that up. I’m a sucker for sales. Especially with the price of any meat having gone up the way it did over the last year.
shitty thing is, seafood is priced fairly well at the moment, but one of the kids won’t touch any of it, so I have to keep that one down to once a week. Weird ass kids.

Don't get me wrong as you can see from the pictures I like Chicken, it is just I don't like eating the same things. That is why I am always searching for recipe ideas for something different~! Lobsters are expensive these days.

you know, I’ve cooked lobster a few times, I’ve eaten it out several times, but it’s just not my thing. I don’t dislike it, it’s just not my favorite. I categorize them with salmon. If I can’t find crawfish or seafood from the Gulf of Mexico, I’ll consider them. Have to be honest though, living a thousand miles away, has opened me up to a few more possibilities I never would have considered previously.

so, I need to get my hands on some pork belly soon and do a variation of that to add in to the Mac and cheese. Getting a little desperate for my old chef cuts.

Love pork ribs. Didn't use a sauce this time instead made up a rub.
Parsley, oregano, thyme, hot cayenne pepper, tumeric, ginger, curry powder and black pepper. We love our roast veggies so no surprises there. Cold here now so comfort food time of year.
