Where to get Nicotine Base after PACT Act?

My question is quite simple and my internet searches for this question have come up empty.

My understanding is that in order to get Nicotine base I would have to find, and physically go to a retail store that sells it, is that correct?

Secondly, if there are exceptions to my assumption above, what are they?

This law is so asinine that I wish ALL (or the majority) of the online retailers would have just ignored the draconian law and kept selling/shipping to retail customers. As you all know, it was passed in the most deceitful manner and really pisses me off.

Does anyone know of any online retailers that can/will still sell and ship nicotine base directly to retail customers (nic salts preferable but free base will do)?

Luckily I made a large purchase of nicotine when Nicotine River was running a sale a couple of months before the law was even passed, so I'm good for awhile but will eventually run out, and I'll be damned paying $10-30 for a bottle of ejuice I can make for $1. DIY juice tastes so much better too, so I NEED to find a solution!

Thanks!

Hmm.. I like your user name, @g0ldl10n :drunk:

Not all local vape shops will be selling nicotine.. so no. If you happen to live near one, and you happen to have all of your paperwork for business transactions, there is a possibility.. I can not point those out to you.. I just hear the rumors like everyone else.

I just covered those assumptions :tunez:

As with everyone else here in the USA... :coffee2:

I do not, but maybe someone smarter than I will pop on and give you a much better reply..

However much you have left atm.. I suggest a nice stroll over to here...

and figure out how much you have, how much it will last and what you could do to stretch it.. like dropping the amount you are using now..

Nic free for almost 6 mo at the end of this month, but I know it does not help you here..
Wishing you the best of luck! :mooncat:

I believe you can still purchase nicotine from a few different vendors right now. myfreedomsmokes is one of them. You can also still purchase nicotine from CarolinaXtracts. It is more expensive, but they will still sell it to you AS LONG AS you do not mention it is being used for vaping.

I would not help a Person who just joined the forum to find Nicotine in this day and age. Send him to where they can shut down our sources is not very smart in my opinion.

The implementation of the pact act has been delayed by the USPS and it is currently still legal to ship nicotine via USPS. The whole point of this forum is to help people who vape, new or otherwise.

And there are people who use the forums to put an END to Vaping. Don't be so trusting because the FDA and ATF just love all the Help they can get. Since I have been a member of forums for a long time I have seen the ANTZ and other new members. They post one time and get lots of info but that is all they do. Wuth the current state of things you better be a member in good standing for me to trust telling where to buy Batteries.

And just to point out I just posted a link to the Delay by the USPS the other day.

Big news, Steve... the info is out there, all one has to do is search.
Please do not turn a newbies thread into a bickering rant on how you are not helping.
It makes you look rather bad.
Did your mom never tell you that if you haven't got anything nice to say, do not say it?
She should have.

I left this thread open for others to come along with info.. thanks @88ArDeN88 :)

This forum, like many many others out on the web.. is for helping.
Don't run a poster off. If you have not noticed, not many are willing to post as it is.
Wake up!

Do not become like e-l-r's forum. Lend a hand or stay in your "safe" threads.

Have you seen anything official as to the delay of implementation of the pact act?

I did not start bickering I posted a WARNING some decides to tell why I should trust someone NO One Knows who did not even take the time to Introduce themselves. And yes I know the INFO is out there but you just made it even easier for them to find iy with them doing any work. So when you can't get shit don't complain because you are just enabling people to get what info they need without working for it. They are probably paid well for being an ANTZ.

Yes but vape products maybe shipped under the Pact act which requires tracking and signatures. And the collection and dispersion to the states of state taxes... this has been enacted by congress with a start date which has already gone into effect.
The USPS shipping ban had a start date but federal agencies have to seek public commentary and rarely gets anything done on time . So the post office must come out with final rules ast o what they will do(which only effects the USPS). But the final rules must be in accordance with the congressional rules they were given. Can the USPS skirt the Pact Act, maybe. Will the ATF go after the post office, probably not. But in the end the PO must comply with congress, I think what they are doing now is seeking loopholes.
Any non USPS entity can ship product in accordance with the provisions of the Pact act, if they choose to....

Hey, totally understand your concern, but I have been around here for a long long time, just never became member of this forum, but knew it was probably the best place and come ask, because I know the members here are very knowledgeable on the subject.

To illustrate I'm not some undercover fed, I remember the days (must've been 5+ years ago) where Vaping underground along with many many others like Vaping with Vic, had their own online live vape shows.. I think the website was like vapers.tv or something. I used to watch Mod Envy and so many more during my 2nd/3rd shift desk job. Then, some drama happened with the owner of the domain and the major hosts/shows, and almost everyone migrated to YouTube to continue their live broadcasts.

Trust me, I am no narc. The mixing shows and the people I met on Vapers.tv is how I first learned to make my own ejuice!

Thanks for the info.. and apologies for not introducing myself.

First, been vaping since the ridiculous Innokin Cool Fire 2 was released, which looked like a real grenade (lol) ... Yes, I bought it, I think it was my second mod. The first mod I bought was (I believe) the very first/original Tesla vv/vw mod they made. Both were amazing all those years ago, but they were freakin horrible in today's standards LOL!

I live in Columbus Ohio, 34 years old and my wife and I just had our first son 7 weeks ago, so it's been very hectic as you can imagine, and introducing myself didn't even occur to me, which I apologize for since it was a bit rude.

I started mixing 5 years ago or so and have a plethora of flavorings. However, probably like a lot of you I have my few favorites.

My favorites are my cheesecake recipes which consist of the following flavors.

TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust
INW Yes we cheesecake
FLV Vanilla pudding
CAP Sweet strawberry
INW Shisha strawberry

Then my blueberry cheesecake just consists of substituting the strawberry flavors for; FW Blueberry and LA Blueberry

@SteveS45 I don't use nic. I have not pointed where to go get.

I just got a shipment in from China.. DHL where a few weeks ago, I was told that DHL could not ship.

I think due to paperwork being a forever nightmare, I can not blame any shipping service.
I was told by "X" shipping, only for the USA.. therefore their stupidity... will cost them business in the future when they run out of items to ship.

Vapeshipping will ship anywhere, however, not many flavor companies want to run with a company that has the term "vape" in it, at all. Go figure.

In the end.. we all should have been prepared.. I can only speak for me.. I do not use nic at all.
I don't miss it and my flavors (for me again) apprear brighter, the longer I do not use nic.

However again.. because my liquid goes into a vaping product, I am lumped with everyone else too.

The mixing shows and the people I met on Vapers.tv is how I first learned to make my own ejuice!

and that is where I remember your name.. excuse the paranoids.. the forum could use some more oldtimers.. ;)
Thanks for the info.. and apologies for not introducing myself.

So no worries :) happy you came back and explained.. I am.

Welcome to the VU :)

Well, now I feel a little less suspicious of you but I use caution before I throw our last remaining vendors to the Narcs or Fed's as you put it. Welcome to the forum and I hope you enjoy your stay~!

Damn, you are set for a long while!

I was only able to scrounge up enough money for maybe 6 months worth of Oxva and VooPoo pnp coils, but did pick up a couple of the PnP rbas.

Also, I was wayyy behind the eight ball finding out about this bs only 2 weeks before it went into effect, because of the sneaky/corrupt way it was passed. I remember several vape ban scares years ago and after winning those and not seeing anything like that come up for awhile, I stopped paying attention because I thought all of that was behind us. Nope!
Not only is it complete bs, I can only imagine how many small online only businesses (and the people they employed) have lost everything they worked so hard for to make an honest living. This really makes my blood boil on so many levels!

Damn, you are set for a long while!

I helped with the works, @g0ldl10n and it is a sweet set up!
Has everything but my name engraved on it. If you like mtl types, very loose.. this could be your next jam! :)

The ada coils can be rebuilt too.. not shabby at all.. high quality you'd expect from SXMini <3
btw... the mod should last me 3 yrs +... ok will shut up about it :D

Pretty much.. I still have a few clients, but my sales has never been this bad.
I did find something else none vape related and so far it's a good challenge.. :)

but for those that are now lost.. it's a hard road. :(

Ah, that's actually the exact type of vape style I like. I am definitely going to look into that setup for sure!

well i just read that and when and if exception's are made it will only be for manufacture ,testing and research and each shipper and receiver need to have proper identification as such and have t3here address listed at time of a maybe applications for said exemption. so unless a vendor was ready to have "in-house" tester i dont see a legal approach for the every day vapor

A couple months after this thread's last post, late to the party and wondering if anything has updated.
Here since 2014, mix my own unflavored juice. Two packs a day for almost forty years so yeah, I like nic. Vaping has made my health and pocketbook measurably MUCH better, hope some sanity prevails. Not optimistic and very pissed (see avatar).

I just called Vaping Zone today. They’re still shipping out nic if your state qualifies.

Thanks Jimi D, I'm embarrassed to ask how do I know if my state qualifies? Is there some source for an overview of the regulations/laws we're looking at?

Unless you are in WA state, they (VZ) will ship out. apparently, WA is experiencing issues, again.
cost + shipping is 121.14 How good is it? I have not used their nic in over 6 years.. dunno...

Nicotine giant... for 1000ml of reg nic.. at least for me, cost + shipping is $104 and some change. How good is it? Never had it...

Nic free now since New Years, 2020... vaping since 2004..

Vape Zone shipped to me in Illinois. Somewhat more than I was used to paying but not unreasonable considering our world today. I thought I was expected to sign for the delivery but that didn't happen.
The nic remains unopened so I've not tried it. It comes from tobacco country, I'm counting on it being fine.

It’s good clean nic. I’ve vaped it many of times since 2011.

I had the same issue for quite a long time until I found a vape store from australia that actually ships products to us. Have been purchasing from them and I must say they have quality products. From nicotine base to e-liquids and cb2 oil, DIY I find almost all sorts of ranges here. Also, the price you pay is way worth the product you get.
