First off - they never offered to give me a replacement - and now i find out they are refunding other people MORE money than they are willing to refund me... So do they just spin a wheel to determine how much each person will get?
Have you ever heard of a manufacturer's warranty? Most companies have them.. If something totally breaks 10 days after buying something most reputable companies will replace or fully refund - the only option i got was refunding less than the full amount I paid and pretty much forced to buy a replacement from a shady company - if you think theres nothing wrong with how cloupor is handling their shitty mods then go buy one - i'm sharing my experience with others so they dont make the same mistake..
What did kanger do when they found out the insulators on the subtank was causing issues? They shipped new ones to anyond who wanted them for FREE. Do you think cloupor would do that? Nope.. And we should not be supporting companies that do not support us. Period.

Yeah, as i already stated i'm familiar with a manufacturer's warranty. In fact i even did a short stint as a CS rep for a cell servive some years back, where pretty much every other person calling in on one always had a screen that somehow managed to break itself. Anyway a week latter my previous point still stands. Good for Kanger for sending out free insulators...but that's still a far cry from refunding the money on the unit in full. Like i said, if that 510 rips out of your IPV tomorrow and after giving VaporDNA a call you'd come back here claiming the same things about them as you are Clouper now.
Here's the overlying reality of the situation man. Most these companies or retail vendors have "good customer service" when the qualifying factor to that largely revolves around shipping your item out the next day with a thank you for your purchase notice. Especially given 99% of the time, and this includes Clouper's mini and the countless people who are enjoying the working ones they got....shit goes smooth. It's when you venture into the vendor actually taking a notable loss of money/product territory that the good CS genuinely gets separated from the rest (or bad).
Clouper took a lot of online heat over the mini (a lot of which tended to consist of people who didn't even own the device, and were simply piling on the bashfest), and my own personal thoughts on every mod maker being one big lottery ticket these days aside......deservingly so. At the end of the day and in the aftermath though, everybody that i saw have an issue with their mod seems to have walked away pretty content either a replacement or full cash refund. Heck, in some case people actually seemed to have made out with their money AND an extra working mod if they were handy enough to fix the broken clouper mini themselves, since in a lot of cases Clouper didn't even ask them to send the mod back to get a refund. Regardless how one feels about Clouper products in general, that shouldn't just be brushed aside as some irrelevant factor. In another thread you talked about standing up for your product......
It does not realistically get anymore standing up for your product in the current box mod market then what they did.
Everybody i've seen...but you. So given you were the one telling a different overall CS story that wasn't gelling with what everyone else was stating, i genuinely was curious on the details. If you claim you did indeed ask for a replacement to be sent instead of a full cash refund, which again reading back doesn't seem to be the implication in your initial post...then i guess you initially asked for a replacement. Ok then, default guess #2 it is.
Maybe you just happened to get that one between jobs CS rep who could care less about the corporate kiss ass stuff if/when they got somebody throwing a major attitude at their attempts to help, and that "I'm a bigger asshole in real life - be happy you met me on a forum" personality choice quoted in your profile sig simply came back to bite you in the ass this time?
