You've tried and enjoy these flavors? That's a heck of a lot.turns out there is not other discounts... at least for me. I signed up for the whole sale option and saved a few bucks... Also, I think that this lot of juice will last me a long time too! I wanted to get big bottles because i always seem to mix and when i get a good mix i am out of the flavors. I can't make a big batch afterwards! Plus I'm hoping that people will start buy a bit more of my juice.
You have a couple of "diacetyle" bottles in the lot. Are you sure you don't want to replace those with something else ?
Dude was not asking for our opinion regarding the diacetyl content of his order. You have a couple of "diacetyle" bottles in the lot. Are you sure you don't want to replace those with something else ?
And I'm not asking you for such a helpful commentDude was not asking for our opinion regarding the diacetyl content of his order.
He was asking for help getting a discount.
@RipTodd, I meant to post this also. It was late, I was tired, my apologies. In the FAQ, you can find a bit more information, including this link. I've seen this posted by HeadInClouds and saved it. TFA makes this information available so that people can make an informed choice. I have flavors that contain this stuff, myself. I do use them, but just not as much as others without. It doesn't bother me so much right now, there is still not enough research and information available to vapers. The biggest problem is when companies deny their flavors contain this stuff, then lie about it. TFA doesn't lie about it, they inform you. You did choose some tasty flavors, though!

Im just pointing out that not everyone is a member of your crusade.
People need to try to be a little less touchy about this. Giving a bit of information is not the same as "crusading".
Since when is any mention of diacetyl and acetyl propionyl and acetoin taboo? I get that people might feel judged about their decision to imbibe substances thought to be associated with lung disease, but I think we can all manage whatever social pressure occurs as a result of someone pointing out that this or that flavoring or juice has a risk associated with vaping it.
And on the up-side, it's more information for newbies who might not know anything about it.
If you use this one a lot, try Capellas version too. They are very similar, but the Cap version is a tiny bit drier and changes with a steep a bit more, barely wins for my palette. Both are tasty. In the nuts department, "toasted almonds" is the best TFA choice.
I see no need for every thread that mentions one of these flavors to contain a discussion about this. It really does come off as crusading. The OP said he was aware of the issue so half of his thread is filled with off topic posts.
I respect peoples concern over the topic but the effect that inserting the topic into every thread that contains one of these flavors has made the topic redundant and dull. I think "crusade" was a good choice of words. It is very much like having a religious fanatic insert their views into every discussion. Nobody wants to be preached at every time they post a list of flavors they bought, IMO.
I get what you're saying, Time. Preaching is annoying, on the whole, let alone crusading. But your point would carry more weight if it really were the case that every time (or anything close to every time) a questionable flavor comes up people jumped all over it. I really haven't noticed that happening much at all.
What I have noticed in my (needless to say, subjective and solitary) travels through internet forums:
1. When people do bring it up, they frequently make an attempt to convey a lack of judgment about what people choose to vape
2. Some people usually get kind of bent out of shape and defensive when it does come up
3. There are DIY threads where the topic is so studiously ignored that it feels socially inappropriate to even mention it
It's that last thing that seems most problematic to me. It seems important to have some kind of balance on the subject of baddies in the juice so that it can be discussed in a productive way by those who care to consider it. It doesn't have to be either a crusade or see-no-evil type of situation.
Bear in mind that I didn't bring up this topic, but was responding to someone being snapped at for having (or so it seemed to me) merely tried to share some information with someone new.
The only reason I was 'snappy' is because ive seen vince do this on other threads, where he will bring up diacetyl seeming out of thin air. The topic of these threads were not about chemical content, the OPs were not asking for alternatives, and the information was shoved forward anyways.I get what you're saying, Time. Huck, Im sorry if it looked like I was snapping in your direction, since you were not the person I was aiming at.The only reason I offered the information from the TFA site was because post #11 inquired about which flavors were in question. True, the OP did state they were aware, but someone else did ask. Not trying to stir, was simply answering a question, then sharing the info on the site.
Nope, didn't take it that way at all. No worriesHuck, Im sorry if it looked like I was snapping in your direction, since you were not the person I was aiming at.
I probably shouldnt snap at anyone, but when I get aggravated with people, I feel they need to hear a sharply dissenting opinion.
But again, none of my comments were pointed at you.
