Mary Janes last dance
Wow, that is so bizarre. That's Kim Bassinger. Was that in a movie?

Reminds me of the movie "Don't let me die on a Sunday". A funeral parlor worker is entranced by the beauty of the corpse he is preparing for burial, so he starts to caress her and she comes awake. She isn't dead after all. He runs away screaming. Then she comes to his house, wanting to have a relationship with him.

Mother and child reunion
My mother in law
-Las Ondas Marteles

My mother-in-law has turned the cannons on me
My mother-in-law and her casserole
Let my shin and chocozuela break
And so, limp on a bed
I can't sneak away with Leonora
Cursed a thousand times and to hell
The one where my wife brought her mom
My mother-in-law has turned my cannons (I buy panetelas and coscorrones)
My mother-in-law has turned my cannons (And she offers me pinches and trumpets)
She spends the whole day arguing
Growling and grumbling in the corners
Casting witchcraft and curses
My mother-in-law has turned my cannons
I do not charge with the damn old woman
That the pressure is already rising
I have a mother-in-law who won't let me eat, nor sleep, nor drink, nor live
Happy old woman who won't let me

Hi Snap how's you day goin my dear friend:hug:
I am doing OK, grocery shopped this morning. It was chilly here again today at 65F. The smoke is clearing, saw the sun today. We haven't had rain in weeks, we need it too. I hope we get rain soon!
How are you and Jean doing?

The song is about Edward "Aleister"Crowley

Thank you for the link to the lyrics.

Oh yes, I had no doubt Ozzy was referring to Aleister Crowley with that song title. I don't really know much about Ozzy Osbourne, so I'm not saying anything about his intentions with this song, or his understanding of Crowley's work. Among those lyrics:

'Yeah, you waited on Satan's call"

Crowley was not a satanist. I don't believe he ever once used the name Satan in his works. He identified the number 666 with the great beast which lies within each of us as a potential, among our other powers known and unknown.

I used to have a recording of Crowley conducting rituals at his Abbey of Thelema. His idea was to use ritual to unite male and female in an "age of Horus" the divine child. His most famous saying was something like "Do what you want under the law. Love is the law."

Lots of satanist and witchcraft dabblers have taken him wrong, and apparently if you fool around with his rituals without appropriate preparation there can be harrowing results. I've never tried any of that stuff.

Anyway I bought the CD "The Great Beast Speaks" (I think that was the one). A friend of mine saw a used copy in our small local record store but didn't have the spare cash for it. He was afraid someone would grab it before he could afford it. I said "I gotcha". I bought it, explored it, and told that friend that when he was ready he could pay me what I paid for it. He bought it from me before he moved away.

Yes but I used to be fast at this now I have to stutter setp my brain to come up with one.

I had a song ready to post, with the word "low" in it, to match with "Low Spark of High Heeled Boys" and by the time I got the link and got it ready, there came that red banner "more posts have been written. View them?"

Oy.

So I have to log out now, with a never match. At least I've never gotten to use it before. It's a hit from a Dallas one hit wonder Ugly Mus-tard:

I do too, good old time music ;)
I must be old then, I can remember puttin them on the family record player when I was a kid:facepalm:

I don't know how to convince people of these things, but you're not old. 70 is the new 50 in this era of abundant good nutrition choices, sanitation, and health information. People in their late 80's and 90's are old, and even then, only if you don't see them out running or walking for exercise, or doing their own shopping, or bouncing their grandkids on their knees.
