The Segeli 150 is a nice box...I really like them and I believe it would be an excellent choice for a first mod because it would give you all the range and power you need to run tanks or RDAs all in one device.
Since you have a high powered regulated box mod with built in safety features in this senerio...hopefully nothing will happen if you did it wrong because if the mod is working right that atty should not fire if there is a short or a bad insulator.
Bud, I have several detailed posts floating around the forum explaining the jest of what is needed to get into cloud chasing and the amount of knowledge required to do it safely. These regulated box mods with their safety features we have are awesome and a much better way IMHO to use before using mechs because of their built in safety features....but because it's got those features that doesn't meant you still do not have to learn all the basic info required that comes along with rebuilding RDA's. You still need to know battery safety and battery basics because if you don't use the correct batteries with your mod you can damage the mod, batteries, or both, or your mod will not be able to put out the power you want it to in some cases depending on which mod you get because some have stepdown protection build into their chipsets. You still need to learn ohm's law and how to use an ohm's law calculator. And these are things you can't skip out on.
The reason why everyone is telling you to go with a Subohm style tank with prebuilt heads is because you know you have a device that can power them and it is really easy to just fill a tank, screw a coil into a base, drip a few drops of liquid into the coil head to prime it, screw the tank together and blow pretty good sized clouds with minimal effort. And while you are looking threw the forums and watching videos and learning about the basics of rebuilding and battery safety and ohms law you have a tank you don't have to constantly drip liquid into every couple of hits that still will give you a really satisfying vape, And when you're ready to move into drippers, you still have that subtank to carry around with you so you don't have to constantly fiddle with a juice bottle and drip on the go which can be a pain in the ass, and if driving it can be outright dangerous.
The truth of the matter is you don't have to fog up a room and blow huge clouds to enjoy vaping...I hate to stereotype people but I see more and more a trend of younger people (18-25) decide they want to start vaping and the first thing they say is "I want to blow the biggest clouds possible." Not just here but in real life with coworkers and friends as well. And the other harsh reality of the situation is that if you've never vaped, even with the best possible airflow and a coil that puts out a cool vape, if you try and suck down vapor off a .24 ohm coil running even around like 50 watts...a lungful of that is going to be anywhere from uncomfortable to down right painful if you're not used to it the first time you hit it. You don't want to start out with the biggest clouds possible...you gotta work your way up to them. That's what they mean by crawl before you can walk.
Look threw some online vape shops, watch some youtube reviews and read up around here on the forums and don't just impulse buy a dripper...that's my opinion but if you give me a little bit of faith I think you'd be happy with one of the tanks listed above. Down below I am putting a couple links to other threads to help you start learning and to a ohm's law calculator and the steam engine coil building tool to help you get an idea of everything.
I am not telling you what to do, I am just throwing in my two cents and a extra nickel more to give you something to think about

I use my posts because I am offering you my opinion and instead of typing it out over and over it's just easier to link to it

There are several other threads full of just as good if not better advice than mine.
