Removable battery, apparently, and at least 50 watts. Haven't seen any official specs or anything else, just a couple comments and pics on the interwebs.

I have heard that the new Kanger Subtank Mini will now utilize the dual airflow ring like the Subtank Plus. I would love to get it in black as pictured looks pretty sweet. Looks like there's a gap on the mod hopefully it use's a floating 510.

I think it looks cool, but I think it will overpriced though, if was around $50, then I'd jump on it, but think it will be around $70-$80

Excellent find scarecrowjenkins
I don't think the wattage in the description for the .5 ohm occ coils is correct though. If I try to vape my .5 ohm coils at more then 30 watts it just gets burnt.

Yeah, i dunno. It says 60W in one place and 50w in another. The .3 limit is kinda weird because it won't even fire their own .2 coils. It's definitely and attractive box though. I need a driving setup and i may go with this guy, unless by some miracle the SX mini M class comes down a hundred bucks in price haha. It does however mention that it's a new subtank that works better at higher wattages, so we'll have to wait and see i guess

I dunno have to see whats new about it have heard the new subtank mini's will have dual airflow like the subtank plus. I don't think or have heard of a Kanger 0.2 occ coil head. I know they make nickel .15ohm coil heads ,but those only work in mods with temp control like the sx mini m class, dna40 devices, iPV4 eg.
Look into getting the iPV4 it's around $80 bucks or less and uses dual 18650's and has temp control that works. don't buy the smok xpro m80 for temp control it doesn't work on that device.

This looks to be a really awesome upgrade kit for someone wanting to move up from an Ego setup and may be thinking about rebuilding. Or just a good out and about rig!

I'm thinking $60-$70. Kanger would be cutting themselves out of a big chunk of the market if they went higher since the Kbox is being blown out by Vaporbeast.

Those tanks are screaming for the replacement black glass. I am going to hold out for the black Plus version.

Yea I noticed that too I stated that in my first or second post on this thread. makes me wonder if they are going to be using a floating 510 or a fixed one.

Preorders are always a pain in the ass , even if $20 cheaper, I'll be in the market for one , but after all the preorders I've been in , I learned my lesson, I'll wait it out, Price drops come generally to match preorder prices with in a few 3-4 months. And any bugs that may need to be worked out. t:)

I hope Kanger has learned from the success of the Kbox that we really like reasonably priced gear,

A fixed pin would be a complete fail in my humble opinion. Hopefully the version they release has a proper connector. There's no reason any regulated mod shouldn't have stainless 510 threads and a spring loaded pin.

Hopefully this doesn't come back to bite me in the Arsh... but I'm sold!

I was actually just looking into an IPV MINI 70w to use with my SubTank Mini, and I was going to buy another Mini just to have one for out and about and my original to leave at home with my iStick 50w. Well, this just killed two birds with one stone in my book. The cost will be very comparable, but I think I will like this set up much better. Thanks OP.

Now I need to find a reputable online Vape Shop to pre-order from.
Any suggestions?
The shops I normally deal with don't have it listed for pre-order.
CIGABUY seems to have the best deal...but I don't know if they're trustworthy or not, or if it will be authentic.
I hesitate in ordering from China unless it's directly from the manufacturers. That being said...would it be better just to pre-order from Kangertech directly?

Vapor-Streer has a $58 plus free shipping. Do a search, there's a lot of USA vendors with them now. They are expecting them at the end of May.

Like you I was all prepared to get the IPV2 mini and these dropped. Now I gotta hang on a little bit longer. The Kanger seems to offer both buck/boost so they can take anything thrown at them. Few of the mini's do that.

Are they reputable?

Meh. They are reputable, but i've had some bad experiences in the past with them when it comes to their preorders.

If you don't want to play the "wait for the first batch to hit stateside and buy the best deal being offered then" game (which 9/10 for me always seems to trump playing the preorder game, hoping the vendor you picked isn't the one coming up with delays in their shipment), i'd save the $20 and go the China route.

Wait for the first batch to be in stock you'll get it faster then a preorder 90% of the time. I did that with my ipv4 and I got it before most preorders shipped! I've done so many preorders with problems Never again!

Same with my IPV4. Ordered from 101vape and was delivered in less than 48 hours and a few days before my buddies pre ordered one did.

Well I pulled the trigger on the pre-order.
Guess we'll see if I get lucky or kick myself.
I just couldnt pass up the deal of $58 with free shipping from Vaper Street. I talked with them for a while and they said theyre one of the top retailers in the USA and dont have the same delay problems with pre-orders that other do...bla...bla...bla. Ill take that with a grain of salt. We'll see if they're full of it or not.

Getting it super fast and being the first one to have it isnt really my kind of deal anyways. Hell... all of my friends are still heavy smokers, stuff like this doesn't impress them any...just me. Haha. I just wanted to grab one at a decent price and not have to worry about it being fake. So that part I think has been accomplished. Now I dont havebto worry about where or when I can get one. Ill just know its on the way....sometime.

That button look kinda flimsy to anyone else or is it just me?

I agree those buttons do look like they could be cheap flimsy plastic crap, but arent alot of them?
Guess only time will tell to see how they hold up.
It bugs me a liiiittle that they seem to stick out so far.
Might get snagged on a pocket or something.

Having a metal body is good though.
At least I presume its metal if it has a magnetic door.

I just hope the damn paint doesn't rub off and scratch real easy like I heard it does on the IPV MINI V2.
Both of my iSticks started to scuff pretty easily too, and I wasn't hard on them at all. Just a soft pocket. Nothing that wraps couldn't fix but come on guys...when you know something will be going in and out of a pocket, you'd think the manufacturer could use some decent finish. Maybe try some black powder coat or something. ;)
