I took up vaping to quit smoking. Accomplished. 9 months now. Its a way of life now... so i dont mind exploring some. But i know my limits. I enjoy building. I drip at home and use my vct pro tank at work... and my artic also. I got 5 tanks and 3 rba's. Love em all. I am a vaping geek!!! Lol

I'm only 1 of thousands here lol. We are all like-minded people who have the same passions of not smoking cigarettes and helping each other out from builds, and everything. It's a nice safe place to be with friendly folks

@HDMontana I did the same thing. Waiting on my silver one from Wake and Vape nto get to Germany to my miltary post office still. i will at least be here before my black one from SMOG.

They have changed to a flat $5 shipping. I hope that means priority, I have gotten my orders from them 2 days from when shipped.
You are correct. That's why I ordered the silver to get me by until the black arrives. Black release keeps getting pushed back.
Looks like they changed their shipping to one flat rate of $5.00. At least I couldn't find any other options. Also, this morning, I already have an "item shipped" email from them. I know that usually just means label created, but maybe it will go out today.

If it is like my orders it will go out today. Keep in mind they are in CA, so they haven't even started their day yet. I think we were both typing our responses about $5 shipping at the same time, lol.

Well, somebody was up by 5 a.m. and attending to business. That's telling.
EDIT: I took a closer look at the shipping notice and I received it at 11:48 p.m., Pacific Time, Sunday night (1:48 a.m., my time) rather than 5:00 a.m. Monday morning like I originally thought. Still telling. With this sort of work ethic, if it can be maintained, Wake & Vape probably has a very bright future.

Possibly good news. The IPV4 that fried may not have been juice in the charging port (although would be a good idea to plug it anyway), more than likely the guy plugged in a 12v wall adapter and fried the unit. He demonstrates dumping juice directly on the components with no ill effect.
Well first time building with nickel. Did 7 1/2 wraps on 1/8" bit. Seems spaced alright. Came out .20. Guess we will see how it works. Ugh that took me like 30 minutes

My Eleaf ohm reader is off compared to the iPV4 by about the same amount. It appears to be the same model as yours, too. I'm gonna assume the iPV4 is more accurate, as it's required to read extremely low resistances to vary the voltage it delivers, as the resistance changes.
@Robert B thanks for posting that. These devices just should not have internal charging, especially if they don't include the proper cable. Really, if you have a mod like this, you should have a charger. Also, if you have a mod like this, you should damn well know to use the proper cable, not 12V, due to the seriousness of a potential failure.

It seems most ohm meters are really not much use when it comes to measuring nickel builds.
On a vaguely related note, just got a goblin in today so now I can finally enjoy me some temp control without dripping every 45 seconds.

I used 28 gage Nickel with 12 wraps on a 1/8 drill bit and it came out to .15 It is working great and able to Chuck clouds.

Yes have a couple blister packs. They work as intended check out mike vapes youtube video review of them. He also tells how to increase the wicking of the Occ coils if you need more wicking.
I think the Atlantis nickel coils work better IMO.
I don't use the Kanger Nickel Occ coils much as I prefer the RBA with nickel over the premade coils. However they are convenient to use when you don't have time to build.
