Has anyone tried it? I ordered a bunch of flavorings, and saw this and decided to put it in my cart just to see what it's like.

Sounds like it would be good, but then again I also remember the days of the Pizza juice that TOTALLY bombed out. Haven't tried anything bacon juice yet, I'd be curious how it tastes...LOL

... and then a shot of orange juice, or maybe a little coffee instead

That doesn't sound totally unappealing. I must be hungry.
sounds amazing. I need breakfast lol

Cap Bacon has some of that imitation bacon bits flavor. From my notes 2 years ago, I made some crazy mix with it at 10% and 5% Cap french toast... yeah it was bad, but even at 5x the % I should have mixed I could tell the flavor could be useful - it wasn't totally gross (surprising in itself), so I'd assume bacon would play nice at low %'s

For Christmas my sister made chocolate bacon bark - I want to vape that. What a taste!!!!

A rich maple/caramel/cream base with .5%-2% bacon would probably be good. Waffles etc. would be more challenging imo.

I have Signature bacon flavor. I got it to try and replicate one of my favorite juices from High Desert Vapes called "Bubba's Pig Sap." It's described as a caramel apple topped with bacon. Doesn't sound particularly appetizing, but it's awesome!

Okay, so I've got FA caramel and FA apple - I'm gonna try it!
I have a bottle steeping in the desk drawer now. The one I got from HD was good when I got it, but steeping made it so much better!

I'll make it tonight after work. I'll start with 3% bacon, 2% caramel, 1% apple and see how it tastes.

Okay, so I finally tried it.

Mixed 3% bacon, 2% FA apple and 2% FA caramel. 70/30 VG/PG, 24mg nic.
Single 2.0 ohm coil on my Patriot RDA at 10 watts on my MVP20.

Well, it's... Interesting.

More of a "Liquid Smoke" type flavor than bacon. It also way overpowers the apple and caramel flavors. I think I should've gone maybe 2% bacon, and 3% each apple and caramel.

I'm still vaping it. Like I said, it's kinda interesting. An acquired taste, maybe? I definitely think it needs at least a little more apple, though. Maybe a touch of pear to brighten it up a bit. Or a hint of clove to bring it in another direction.

I don't think I'll be making a 2nd batch. I'll probably use it to add a bit of background smokiness (BBQ type) to other recipes.

Lower the bacon just a tad. Now put it away in a desk drawer or cabinet and leave it for a couple-three weeks. You'll be surprised at the difference....;)

I added some more apple and caramel to it - about 2% each. It's better, but I like the steeping idea. I'll try it again in mid July.

Further down the line I will be daring to try and do a doughnut with maple syrup and bacon on top. Be interested to see crazychefs feedback after steeping. What percentage do you mix it at Teresa as any reviews I have seen of any of any vendors bacon flavour seem to say its repulsive or just like liquid smoke bar one person that said to literally put a drop into 10ml. Also I saw somebody saying Joy tasted like funnel cakes when mixed with cream and I see you have tried Joy Teresa, would you think doughnut, joy and cream would work? As mentioned, all for further down the line, Ive only just started DIY and tried a couple of recipes from here, but my addictive personality is already coming up with ideas for flavours I havent even tried haha

Without having the recipe in front of me (other computer), I can't recall the exact percentage but I know it was more than 1 drop per 10ml. As a shake and vape, bacon is pretty stout. But left to steep with sweeter flavors, it mellows out considerably and tends to blend as more of an enhancer than a dominant flavor. It's certainly not for everyone!
Ah, FA Joy..... I hate to say I wasn't impressed, but it's true. I guess I expected much more but I think it tastes like fried bread. Something like a funnel cake, but not quite as sweet. It's good for bakery type flavors, maybe with fruits for a "pie" effect. Of course that's just my impression, you may feel differently. I did purchase HIC's Baklava recipe, which includes Joy as an ingredient, and am anxious to mix it up and see how it does there. That was actually the first thought I had after trying it, that it would make a good baklava, but I couldn't quite nail it myself.

I need to taste what I have tucked away in the desk drawer, been there 11 days now. It's smelling more like apple than bacon, so it may be ready. ;)

Haha Teresa I think I get the bacon test now, once the liquid no longer reeks of bacon but more of the other flavours....its good to go :)

Well, I've come to the conclusion that the Capella bacon flavor sucks. Too bad, I was really looking forward to it, too. Tastes exactly like this:

How 'bout you just pm me your address and I'll send you some of mine? That way if it doesn't agree with you, you aren't out any more money. ;)
