Okay, but attacking someone playing with a dexterity challenge is against ninja ethics, and doesn't challenge their stealth skills anyway.

I'm playing without the splint at the moment. My nurse friend has worked in ortho and thinks, but doesn't know for sure, that the pain is going to bite me soon. She says I should be in much more pain from a displaced fracture and suspects the swelling is pinching the nerves and dulling the pain. So the splintless thing may not work much longer but right now I can use the hand nearly normally as long as I don't actually try to grip anything.

Am I a humbug? I'm spending Christmas day alone this time, and I love it. No political brawls with the siblings, no religious arguments, just a cozy pajama day, bingeing on podcasts with hot coffee.

I have my snacks all thought out in advance, starting with that time honored Texas treat, pecan pie for breakfast.

How ever my friends here are spending the day, I wish you a happy one, filled with peace and joy.

For this play, I'm breaking with word match because, well, I'm sick of Santa. Not really, but we had Santa all day yesterday in this game, and he's still here. I've been wanting to use this and surprisingly, nobody has given me the word "snow". So the next person can spring from this, or match to the previous entry.
