My day was great, thank you.
It's hard that it got away so quickly. Of course, a 90 minute nap this afternoon did nothing toward prolonging my blissful Christmas day alone.
I didn't do as much snack damage as I expected. Pecan pie for breakfast, yeah, homemade guacamole & chips for dinner, pecan pie again for dessert, and I'm done.
The skinny guy across the hall gets the rest of the pecan pie. That stuff is terrible for me because of the syrup custard.

,I splurged and had oatmeal for breakfast, fish, garden peas and a big spinach salad for dinner. I'm stuffed

Ever since you said Pecan pie that's all I have been able to think of, have you ever had praline pecan pie with the caramel?
I am glad I have fairly good will power.
Never have had anything specifically called "praline pecan pie", but I love, love love sweet potatoes with the pecan praline topping. If it's on the table, I never have it with the mains and sides. To me, that's dessert, and wonderful with coffee.
The pecans on top of the regular everyday grocery store pecan pie are praline really, when it comes right down to it.

I was referring to my kimchi onions. It looks like you just found them. You gave them a "love".I didn't see it
They are delicious. That Korean chili powder is wonderful. It doesn't blend in well enough to really make a kimchi paste or dressing, but I pull out a couple and chop them up to put on about everything I eat, including the guacamole I made earlier this evening.
I'll having no trouble using up the rest of that pound of chili powder in beans, tacos, soups, whatever.

Well rats, the channel that had "Lion of Judah/Maoz Tzur" medley by Alan Eder & friends, feat. nyabinghi drum and vocals by Ras Michael, my all time favorite Chanukah piece. The song cannot be found in a vid on the entire internet, making me wonder if someone had a copyright dispute or something.
It's a great CD worth buying, Reggae Chanukah. I own it.
