I need to listen to this again to figure out what it's about. The comments under the vid on YT are interesting.
It's an Irish rebel song, some of the references (for example the friend in the RUC) are to groups that no longer exist, but I don't know enough of the history to recognize all of them. The RUC was a police force in Northern Ireland throughout the 1900s.

I saw Iron Maiden live in concert 1982 they were the opening band for Judas Priest- still one of the best concerts I ever saw and heard, my ears are still ringing,lol! Kiss was awesome too and I saw them in 1975. Lucky to see all these bands when they were great!
