Love the images in that. I used to see a cardinal on the hedge outside my window all the time. No more. The 5 stray cats that populate our yard have completely wiped out the birds and squirrels on this entire block, not reduced them--wiped them out completely.
Remembered you had mention something about cardinals.
I don't know if you (and gloopdegurp) had seen this pic I took several years ago. So, thought I'd share just incase.

Not too bad through a window. It was a massive ice storm. One in a million shot of getting this pic. Hasn't happened since which would be a good thing not having an ice storm.

I started squeezin a small nerf ball right after I soak my wrist and it seems to be helpin or something is, still swollen though:huh:

That's good Jimi. As a hereditary granny healer, musculoskeletal issues are not my strong suit, not an area of experience. I was starting to think you've got a nerve tangled in there where it shouldn't be, getting pinched. Or a tendonitis. A friend of mine who had tendonitis of his heel always spoke of relief in terms of "stretched out and relaxed".

I found a couple of listings from pretty conventional institutions, but it seems like good sense:

I hope something will help, or just stick with the nerf, as long as the medical industry keeps dumping you in the river.

This is a little journey with Calie.

I'm Sorry, for this is going to be a long read. Skip to bottom if you don't want to read all of this.

When she first showed up on the deck three years ago, started feeding her, poor baby would scratch scratch and scratch some more. At times she would also throw up right after eating and constant diarrhea.

It took a bit to gain her trust, but she finally let me pet her. Our bond grew quickly afterwards. As you know, she had her babies, Tigglee, Tickles, Tangee and one was tangled in the cord and :( died 😭 . She had a heck of time while pregnant, trying to keep her food in tummy, diarrhea and constantly scratching. As I found out, kitties are able to get pregnant within six months of age. Found out by the vet that she was still a kittie, had thought she was at least a year old when she got pregnant, I was wrong.

Took her to the vet to get her spayed and to hopefully find out why she was scratching, throwing up her food and the diarrhea. She had so many hurties on her from sctratching,, she was put on antibiotics. The sores got better, but the scratching and diarrhea was not. Vet thought she was allergic to the food. Tried everything and nothing was going away. Talked with vet, and put her on prebiotic. It seemed to help with her throwing up, the diarrhea and she did less scratching. Stopped feeding her any kind of chicken products, thought this was causing her these problems. However, she kept on scratching and the diarrhea :(

Found on yt the cat MOJO guy, least this what I call him. He has holistic ways to heal these kinds of problems. So, bought three different liquids all for helping the skin and a probiotic powder that is put on food. All these seemed to be helping, oh also Tangee was having tummy problems just like Calie. The two different biotics helped Tangee and Calie, both stopped throwing up and having diarrhea. The scratching continued, but not as bad :) .

This brings us up to the past summer. Calie started to scratch uncontrollably, getting bad sores yet again :( . She started to become distance with us, not playing, not cuddling with Tangee, Tigglee or us, keeping to herself :( . Was back at the beginning trying to figure out what the hell is going on with her.

Hubs found a post on facebook,, meta, whatever it is called (I don't go on it). It described what Calie is going through and it all has to do with the gut. It took a bit to save the money to buy some of the liquid product, but finally purchased two bottles and three were free.

Started the three drops on all the kitties food, made the mistake and didn't stop the other biotics, though, didn't give the same amount. She started to throw up again. Oh man, we felt horrible :( . Then she just out right quit eating, we felt even worse!! Her not eating lasted three days, yes, she was still drinking water, thank goodness! The third day, came up with an idea, try yoke with just the new product. Cooked the egg sunnyside up, two drops of liquid, she licked it right up and no throwing up afterwards. Yey!!!

Slowly with not feeding her too much, sunnyside egg were cooked with three drops in the yoke for breakfast and a little pile of beef for dinner. All was staying in tummy, and she started to scratch less. She decided she didn't want any beef, so started to feed the usual fishes Cod and Flounder, just a little bit for breakfast, yey, she kept in tummy, for lunch the yoke with three drops and a little pile of hard cat food, another little pile of cat food for supper and all was staying down and scratching has almost stopped completely. The feeding upped to usual amount now, Cod, Flounder, Salmon, Tuna, and shrimpies for breakfast, hard cat food for lunch with the three drops on it and then dinner with hard cat food with collagen sprinkled on top.

She looks, feels so much better, she is cuddling with her babies, and is playing again, YEY :bliss:
This new holistic liquid stuff is a life changer a life saver. Don't know what we would have done if hubs didn't read on it on facebook.....Calie would still be suffering so very badly.

She is our Calie full of energy and cuddle love :inlove:

Again, I'm sorry for the long read.
