Nice ! I just inhaled a calzone!!!! Lolo may the insulin be with us ...lololView attachment 29099 Type - 1 Diabetes Preparedness 201
Yup ! I hear you...I've had my share aswell....just to share a bit about me...I was born in Detroit Michigan, my parents were young but loved drugs and liquor, we did not have food often , got evicted often. My father left me at the age of 8. Never saw him again, my mother lead a risky lifestyle, left my sister and I at home alone while she met men and partied...she met one and broght him home...he was ok until we had to flee the state because drug dealers wanted him dead. That took us to Las Vegas. There he began abusing my sister and I and to make a long story short my mother chose to keep him in her life and give my sister and I to my aunt. My aunt put me in therapy, and a mental institution because of how angry of a child I was. I ran away at 14yrs, join a gang. By thus time I was in Los Angeles. I bang banged until I was 21. I was a Jr high school drop out. At 21 I got very religious, left that life and married at 26. At 30 I found my mother, aunt again . My mother was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy . I cared for her for 14 yrs. All while I hot my GED and put myself through nursing school. Through therapy I realized my relationship with my mom was a toxic one. I no longer haver her in my life which brings sadness yet peace... it's been a long road..but we each grapple our way through it. We are unique, beautiful and strong for havibg survived...your awesome and not alone. ..@lovewerks!!!!Well, it's 5:05 pm EDT, and after running some errands, shipping a package to @Liz Wonder in Denver, and using the
Mart Cart (electric-
powered chair for
handicapped people, like
myself) to shop for
groceries... it was a difficult slog for me today, because of my mobility problems. Yet, it made me think of the good things in my life:
My drug and alcohol-free lifestyle; my ability to still be able to write, sing and play music; my
relationship with @Liz Wonder, and how the sun rises, and sets upon
her; my humility, which took years to find, and keep; VU, and Whiskey's Corner - where I've located very fine human beings, who share many
similar life experiences; my children, though grown up, that I still love
very much; hell, there are many things that I'm
grateful for!
I'm grateful for the peace and serenity in my life. To be fair, I've posted a LOT of negative stuff - but, I was only trying to share. I sincerely hope that I've not alienated anyone here, as we all need more of the positive vibrations to permeate us, here at 'the Corner.'
I'm grateful to be alive. Even with disabilities, it surely beats the alternative (!). I'm glad to know - at least, in cyberspace (though, I am communicating by phone to someone who posts here) - all of you. As you can see, there's always something to be grateful for.
My life is rich, in goodness and many small things that add up to huge amounts of happiness.
After all, I had to go down a rocky road - in order to arrive here.
May Peace and Love Forever be yours, LW & Liz![]()
Good morning LW & Liz@Kevin H., Good Morning. It is Friday, indeed. May your day be stress-free, and uneventful - so that your weekend becomes the welcome respite that it's supposed to be.

You ain't kidding ! I need a Starbucks !!!!!Enjoy your early training!
Make that like a quad shot Espresso lol
Sweet!!!I'll be with you next week B ! Got nights next weekNight Everyone !
Hahaha! Love it!!!!! Yeah I have used my ego mega here. It's less vape but lots of flavor. If I used my eleaf 50 w with a big inhale I'd leave a foggy bathroom! !! Lolo ! I'll be reading your eliquid adventures too!!!@boriqua75 - our next TWO Deluxe memberships will be ordered from
@Breazy_Com before 3 pm on 10/2...
We'll get our most of our old favorites in Deluxe Membership #1; in #2, there will be many of the newer, high VG (for us, that's 35%PG, 65%VG on up to 10/90, and even 100% VG) e-liquids that are new in the Breazy arsenal - so, if @Whiskey doesn't mind, and Breazy likes the idea of free advertising - I'll do a shorter, more concise review of the NEWER Breazy e-liquid inventory that we receive!
For example, you mentioned the Must Vape Walrus 6 mg nic, 35/65 blend: that's probably as close to 50/50 as we'll ever get, because of its cool, minty finish after getting a hefty strawberry/watermelon inhale - it was easier on my throat than Do U Even Vape's 30/70 blend, 6 mg nic Lady In Red - which is like a heavy strawberry/raspberry blend that is still very tasty, but more harsh on my pipes.
@boriqua75 - Bori - just so you know, vapor will not trigger most fire alarms - even in hospitals. The key is to 'vape stealthily' - by exhaling out of your nose. Liz and I both spend a lot of time in doctors offices - she'll wheel me in, as she's on
my HIPPA - and, while we wait for the doc - we 'stealth vape', blowing the vapor into the 'return' screen on the ceiling.
We're MAD vape people. At a Mickey D's, a concerned hausfraus looked at me, and said,
"You shouldn't be doing that in here," and my response was, "Excuse me? I have COPD. Go peddle your papers!"
Shaven bald-headed Italian man - very scary! As you say, "Vape on."
LW & Liz (I may be intimidating, but don't piss little Liz off - when the Irish comes out of her, look out!)![]()
