LOVE the little evic mini rascals. Just throw the Ego one megajunk tank in the trash and buy a Crown or build up a Goblin or a Bellus or a nice RBA and slap something worth vaping on these delectable lil mods. Joytech's tank and coils don't do this mod justice.

So after a week of messing around with mine I gotta say...Evic really knocked it out of the park with this one.

For the price + features, I don't see any other 1 batt boxes competing with this one atm.
i think you are right unless you consider the xcube mini

It's the only mod I've ever owned, apart from an iTaste VV4, so perhaps I'm speaking out-of-turn, but I'd be hard-put to see how the eVic-VTC Mini could be improved upon.

1. i care less what phil says
2. the treebox is not up[gradable nor pass through so evic vtx beats it in function, however the treebox wins on design

If I could change one thing about the VTC Mini it would be the ohms lock for temp control. It doesn't always stay locked when you initially set it. That said, it's still my favorite mod.

Evic Minis on parade!
Crown tank, Goblin Mini, and Velocity Mini toppers with drip tips from the fine Humans at Lightning Vapes. Love them, vape them, take one with me everywhere.
Suck It!

I was going to say the same thing. Between Ti being set low and then the coil inching lower you can end up with some pretty sucky hits when you don't have time to mess with it.

Finally received my VTC today. Updated it and put my Crius with SS coils on it. All I can say is "Wow". Really impressed by this lil' beast.

I truly loved the original X-Cube.
But I have terrible bilateral Carpal Tunnel.
The size and hard edge design along with the grip pull trigger just killed my hands because of the Carpal Tunnel.
I ended up selling it to a good friend unfortunately because of that.

The X-Cube Mini is very intriguing to me.
Not sure if it too would bother my hands or if the reduced size would make it good for me.

For the time being I bought a VTC-MINI and this mod is great.
I think being able to dial in the coefficient with the x-cube mini would be awesome, but so far the SS temp control on the VTC has worked fine.

Yep.
And the treebox is rounded too which would really help Me out.
I just don't care for wood boxes is all.

Need to find an ergonomic SS TC box that's small and 150w or so.
I really like the hcigar vt200, but I WONT pay that kind of coin for a mod, and don't really like the idea of Li-Po.
Kinda liked the wismec reuleaux with tri- 18650's.
Nice rounded body...but... price.

It won't be long I'm sure.
Just gotta be patient.
The VTC MINI is a great compromise until then.
It does everything I want...but the battery doesn't last long at higher power obviously.
Not joyetechs fault... just the nature of the beast.

Actually...
Lets reverse the situation.
How about battery makers come out with a great (and stable) 5000mah battery the size of 18650's!
Then we could carry around our stealthy comfortable mods and have some juice!

I sure wouldn't mind paying twice the amount for a battery knowing it would last twice as long when I want to punch it, and even longer when I'm being mellow.

Well...not twice as long, but you know where I'm coming from.

What are 26650's up to, these days? They have roughly 2x the volume of an 18650, so, if development of those is keeping up: Should be able to hit 5AH easily.

I'm happy for now...3 solid mods good enough
I love the fact I can plug in the evic pass through and charge OR take the battery out and change it... I do both and loving this thing!
For going out its replacing my evicVT which was my preferred going out mod because of the pass through (I'm in the car and don't have a box to put two spare 18650)

You've looked at the Reuleaux and think it's workable? Size, weight? I know everyone is saying the ergonomics are surprising.
If the non-DNA version RX turns out to have really good TC, you might go that route... ~$60.
I can't stand the idea of having to drill down into the menus to make adjustments on the DNA.
Well it's definitely not a great on-the-go mod by any means.
More of an at home table mod.
But the footprint for holding 3 batteries I don't think is too bad.
Yeah...the $50-$60 version is the only one I'd consider if any with that box.
