LOL, Anyone else have this happen? Tinkering with a flavor, and you perfect another flavor. I have just perfected "Dirty Socks"
I can do Caps V1, or V2 at 17% single flavor all day. After 5 days it turns a gold color, and smooths out. I would definitely try it before I wrote it off.I bought 120ml of Caps Vanilla custard (Rave reviews) thinking 'if' I'm a custard guy I will have plenty on hand... Nope. I smell and taste fresh vomit and newborn babies. Oh well it does add body in small percentages .5-2% at most. Gonna take a while to kill that much at this rate... true story.

Mine turns gold. I wonder what is causing the orange, headed to red? I have never seen Cap's V1, or V2 go red. Your mix is 30 days old, I would expect a translucent gold color.
LOL, a translucent orange, may be a better description, but I have definitely not seen red in 30 days. I love custard, maybe I just like thinking it is gold. This is 2 weeks 15% V1, 2% DDL, 3mg NicHmmmm ... I wish I could scrounge a picture from the forum. I think gold is more unusual than a rosy hue or reddish-orange color. OTOH, if I'm wrong, I'll add it to the list of all the other times ....![]()

SailCat...Off topic, I lived on a 40' Island Packet for 8 years, and love sailing. You definitely put the lime in the coconut. Like your AvatarDefinitely orange-gold!
Thanks, Teresa.![]()

I do sub-ohm my custard at about 80 watts. You should have a good idea now as to flavor. If your juice is too strong, add in some VG that's at the same Nic level as your juice, to bring the flavor % down, and adjust.I have 3 batches all different recipes steeping still. Read that it keeps smoothing up to a month, I have 7 days before I get to that point in which I will be trying them again.
Edit: I REALLY hope I like at least one of them, you sub ohm a 17% flavor mix?
I agree with that 99.9%, i always try a mix fresh made and if its so so most of the time its smoother so so steeped with the exception of a 1 or 2 that blossomed after 15+ days but tasted like road kill straight after mixing.I do sub-ohm my custard at about 80 watts. This is my steeping motto: Good gets excellent after steeping, OK sometimes becomes good after steeping. Shit will taste like steeped shit after steeping....
