I've got a hankerin' for some blueberries. I've got creams and vanillas and this 'n that out the yang, but never did get too into the fruity-end of the spectrum. So instead of buying this and that and the other thing from every manufacturer out there - figured I'd cut to the chase and ask the knowledgeable ones. Stick with FA? Is TFA untouchable in the blueberries? Does CAP know how to do it right? Point me to something excellent, please-and-thank-you.

edited to add - not necessarily recipes, else it should be moved there I assume - I've got enough to play with it in many ways, just looking to avoid the crappy ones and not waste even more on stuff I'm just going to huck into the bin after giving it the sniffer test.

I have tried all the blueberries and my palette loves FW better than all the rest. It does take a larger percentage than FA and some steep time but it is one of my favs

Hahah neither did I until the others didn't provide that sweet googy taste I was looking for. So I went out and bought every other brand I could find. After a month of steeping, testing, and comparing notes, FW was my winner.........

Inawera's Blueberry tastes like a real blueberry. They even nailed the soft texture from the inside of the berry. Impressive flavor. I never go without.

I guess this is why taste is subjective. My tests with INW reminded me of pure cough syrup. I could do it no matter what percentage I used. I'm glad you got it to work for ya

Truthfully, I've only tried one blueberry-type ejuice, it was a house-juice from a place near me a few years ago - and it was horrible. I got the idea they were going for behind it, but man oh man I just couldn't do it. No idea what flavorings they used, but it's gotta be in the regular circuit.

Anyone try Flavorah?

Probably mixed too strong. I mix it at .75% for a standalone.

I've tried 4 so far inw, diyfs, tfa, and fa. Fa is the most realistic by far. But will have to try fw see how it stacks up.

Best BB concentrate I've tried is Medicine Flower. Very concentrated and realistic.

I like a combo of SC blueberry, TFA BB extra and TFA BB wild usually 2:1:1

Are we the FW Blueberry crew now? It seems every blueberry thread!

I have to agree though. FW is my go to. Just picked up 4oz!

Alrighty, thank you everyone for your suggestions! BCV package arrived in the mail today, along with a bottle of Flavor West's Blueberry - just uncapping it, I knew it was going to work perfectly. Mixed it up at 7%, 4% FA Vanilla Bourbon and 1% FA Fresh Cream and mmm... hits the spot, scratches the itch. Perfect. I'll probably up the Blueberry to 8, 9% next time - maybe, but dang that's good, and it's exactly what I was craving.

I'll end up trying a couple more, FA and TFA's Wild are on my next purchase list - but for a quick, spur-of-the-moment hankerin' and order, FW is doing me right.

Thank you all, again - it's much appreciated.

If you ever get a chance to try Medicine Flower BB you will probably love it. ECX sells it under the name Lotus. At 1%, maybe 1.2% it makes a good blueberry vape on its own. And believe it or not, it tastes like blueberries! Minimum 2 weeks steep time.

I will make a note of that as I am in the probably too strong group too. I see so many exciting looking blueberry recipes only to pass on them because I only have INW.

I'm gonna have to respectfully disagree with you there. I think this stuff is delicious, but then maybe I'm partial to... erm... bath water.

Ten bucks for 5 mls??? Yeow...

The question was for the best not cheapest ;)
Medicine Flower has the best flavoring I've tried, hands down. Most can be used at 1% or less as a stand alone. Yes, slightly more expensive than others but when you do the math on how much you actually use, the difference is nominal. Also these are extracts and are not in a solution of pg.

medicine flower would be easier to mix if it had around the same strength as the others. also cheaper to sample, I'm not crazy about the idea of 10 bucks for one flavor I may not even like

There's no standard strength for flavoring. Most flavor apprentice flavors are used at higher percentages than others. But there are plenty of them along with Flavour Art, Inawera, Flavorah and others where there may be 0.2% used. If you mix by weight instead of volume it's much easier to do these types of percentages. Otherwise you could dilute them in a 10% pg solution so when it calls for 0.5% you can add 5% of your solution instead. As for cost, not everything that costs more is better. In this case it's $22/15ml on Medicine Flower's website. But quality is much, much higher than their nearest competitor.

still $10 to sample a flavor that I may not like, and have to dilute before using. now if they offered diluted sample sizes....

Just tried billberry 2% with sweetang tpa 3%. It was an interesting blueberry pixie stick. Kind of a fun bring you back to your childhood days. Sorta a fun two tank vape...not an adv, but Atleast a work day vape.
