I just might bite on the Lotus. I've had my eye on it for a while. No frills mod that packs a serious punch from all reports.

I just got one. Not from where I posted but I didn't pay much more. If you don't do TC it's a great mod. My Sigelei 100W Plus is a backup now. Way better in some ways, maybe not as good in others. For the price, trust me... don't even think about it.

Do it... Ecig City has them in three colors for $25, and for $30 you get a sense cyclone with it. I've had a black one from ecig.com for a bit. I happen to have been vaping it today, and right now. I ordered another with that deal, a blue one. I have my DNA200's and all my other mods, and for pure simple power, it just puts out. It's a 180 watt mod, too. Not 80 watt. It can fire .2 at 6.0 volts. It's like a Hexohm with an on off toggle switch to see your voltage, and to check remaining voltage in the batteries. No toggle switch to see voltage on a Hexohm, and it's a 20 amp chip. No lifetime warranty like a Hexohm, but I love the thing.

For that price on either site you can't go wrong. I think the LE80 came onto the market in a bad time for simple VV boxes. That's the only reason I can see for not becoming popular. Get it!!!!!!!!! Lol

LE80 colors are powder coated (on metal)... black is rubberized coating. fwiw. Day three with my black LE80. I'm diggin' it. Hits very smooth. Was at my local B&M today. They had a few HexOhm's. Surprised that it's quite a bit smaller than the LE80. Huge price difference. Maybe better parts quality. It's a clean well made box, the HexOhm. I'd never handled one before.

Well I got the sig 50. At $22 shipped I couldn't pass it up. Got to the house and loaded a battery and rda. Worked great. Back in the box and in the closet.

The Hexohm is why I got LE80's. I don't understand them calling it an LE80. It just leads to confusion for people regarding power.

And the black paint isn't great, but I wouldn't be terribly concerned. Mine is chipping on the bottom of the battery door, and the door has spots where it kinda "bubbled up". Best way I can describe it. It still works, and doesn't look bad. For that price it's kinda nice to have a mod that delivers, but you didn't spend so much that you need to really baby it. Enjoy it! And get a clear wrap if you want. I have a print shop near by that I asked to wrap a mod in the past, and they just cut me a big piece of clear 3M film, rubbery and thick. It does not come off, though. So be sure you wanna do it. Beats spending $15 or so on a wrap.

I'm using it four days. It looks brand new. We'll see in four weeks or a few months how the black rubber coating really holds up. I called an online retailer who told me the new black finishes are better done than the older ones. He said they feel different. I don't know what the real deal is. Thought I'd miss the info readouts that I've had on other mods but I don't. This tells me just what I need to know. The state of the battery, the drain when I hit it and the volts it's pumping out. Love the simple on/off switch and immediate hit w/no ramp up. Amazing for the current price. I'm sitting on a new sealed eVic VTC mini that I bought as a backup because I liked my first one so much (since sold). This LE80 replaced a Sig 100Watt Plus. Now also a backup. The Sig feels better in hand. It's a well built tank but if the Lotus holds up, I may never use the others again. Don't do TC. Don't see what could be better than this box unless I buy a mod for almost 10X the price.

Lotus is fucking awesome. I'm either at or a few days over 90, and they're going to warranty my black one. Getting the new blue one, I know now that the wobbly dial is not normal. My blue one has no play. My black one also fluctuates voltage moderately while Vaping, each time you fire it it changes a bit.

Seriously, though, I emailed them yesterday afternoon, and received a response within the hour. I took screen shots of my invoice and delivery confirmation, for warranty, since I couldn't find the hard copy. I now have an RMA and I'll send it out tomorrow. As long as there isn't liquid or physical damage, it doesn't, I should be getting brand new one.

The blue is great looking, too. Moral of the story, Lotus makes nice shit, and they take care of their customers. Crazy, huh? Lol.

@TBCAmor - Nice! You're getting a new black replacement. Good to know Lotus is stand-up on replacements... and they cut you some slack on the warranty time frame. Wow !!! How do you like the powder-coat finish on the blue (comparatively speaking)?

Yeah, the form says color may vary depending on stock, but I don't care. The blue is nice. Not so sure it'll be amazingly durable, but it's not rubbery, so it's definitely different. Mainly, the voltage/on off switch is much smoother and clicky, and the dial for the potentiometer is solid and has no wiggle at all. That's why I'm sending it in, don't care about the finish with this one. I had figured it was normal, but it's not. And big time props to Lotus. Before I found the delivery notification, I'd only sent them my invoice and they said it was close but they wanted to help me anyway. It was delivered 10/24, so I'm right on the edge, and they have been super prompt and kind.

I'm truly amazed with Lotus. To receive responses within the hour, and have a mod serviced that's teetering on the end of warranty is just plain old kind. As simple as that, a really nice thing to do for a customer. Rare these days.
