From those 2, I'd get the Reuleaux. They both have all the TC modes (Ni/Ti/SS), both USB Firmware upgradable, both "200W" (Cuboid 200W Pulse/Reuleaux 200W Continuous). I've held both and they both feel great, but I feel the Reuleaux is more ergonomic (Different form factor compared to the common box shape), more stable while standing (wider stance), has nicer buttons (IMO), has a nicer battery bay (Cuboid battery door/latch is finicky, especially without batteries installed), feels more solid (The cuboid doesn't feel cheap, but I prefer the weight of the Reuleaux, don't like things feeling light, it just feels more durable), and is a triple 18650 (so longer battery life under the same load)

Another plus for the Reuleaux is the already large user base. There's tons of people with this mod, and a lot of user feedback/information available about it, so if something did happen, there's readily available data and experienced users to assist you with troubleshooting.

As to the battery issue, it's highly recommended to never use the USB for charging if it can be avoided. It's a safer bet to use an external charger, not to mention it'll charge a whole lot quicker too. Most mods with removable batteries have run into USB charging issues at one time or another, it's a rather common occurrence, even with a Evic VTC Mini.

On a side note, I've heard a few people say they found their Cuboids Voltage Cut-Off to be finicky, some would cut off at 3.7V, others at the normal 3.4V, and then I heard a case where one wasn't cutting off until 3.2V. I have no actual data or reference point to back up these claims, but it would make me leery to buy one.

When all is said and done, both mods can perform well, so it all comes down to personal preference. A few questions I ask myself when deciding on mods:
-Would I be willing to carry this around all day?
-Would the battery life be enough for my needs? (for mods with built in batteries)
-Would I be willing to carry extra batteries? (for mods with interchangeable batteries)

Still, it's all about preference at this point. Both would serve you well for you're intentions, for just at home or special events.

I'll put it this way (my opinion):

If someone gave me the Cuboid, I would most definitely use it (and probably love it). But if I had to purchase one, spend actual money, I would hands down pick the Reuleaux!

You CAN technically charge it through the USB, but there's no guarantee it won't crap out on you or misbalance batteries, so it's always recommended to use an external charger. The cuboid falls under the same rules. If a mod has removable batteries, no matter how many (1/2/3/4/?), it's recommended you should always charge them on an external. Even with my VTC Mini, I take out the batt to charge it.

This is done not only for your own safety, but for your batteries safety, and your mods safety. $30 is a drop in the bucket when you consider all the other possibilities (Fire/Injury/Battery and Mod Replacement)

They are both excellent devices, but I prefer the Reuleaux for one simple reason. I do not feel that there is a battery currently on the market that is safe for use at 200W in a dual 18650 mod that offers the capacity to make that usage convenient. The Cuboid requires 25A batteries per Joyetech and that doesn't leave very many options.

On a side note, I've heard a few people say they found their Cuboids Voltage Cut-Off to be finicky, some would cut off at 3.7V, others at the normal 3.4V, and then I heard a case where one wasn't cutting off until 3.2V. That is due to battery sag from using inappropriate batteries and not due to quality control of the mod. The low voltage cut off of the Cuboid is 3.1V. Sounds like the one case of cutting off at 3.2V was the only person using batteries with an appropriate CDR.

I'm going to use LG HE4's in my Cuboid and RX200 that are in the depressingly slow vape mail system. See how the sag is with these battery in both mods.

I bought the Cuboid as a heavy traveler. And the RX200 will be my main desk/home mod. My daily work rigs are a Subox Mini / Nataluis Mini on a iStick 30.

I do not expect either mod to be able to put out a clean 200w. I do expect both mods to put out a clean 170w max with proper battery's in bench testing.

They will work great in your RX200.
You won't get 90w per any 18650 without pulsing the power. Not safely anyway.
I would not hesitate to use either the VTC3 or HB6 at 90W per cell in any mid to high quality regulated mod with a low voltage cut off of at least 3.1V as far as battery safety is concerned. I have done it with VTC4 cells, but found that they just got a little too warm for my liking. I would not do it with HD2, HG2, 25R or HE4 cells that far too many people are using in dual 18650 devices. Do the math... Low voltage cutoff of mod x circuit board efficiency x manufacturers specified continuous discharge rate of battery = maximum wattage. I fudge a little sometimes. By maybe 10-15% over as some of them are great batteries. But never 50%+ over like many people are doing. That is why I recommend the RX-200 over any dual 18650 200 watt mod.

I did not mean to type 180w. I meant 170w. And have corrected my mistake. That was a mistake/typo on my part. Sorry! My first vape typo. :)

I have both and I prefer the RX200. It feels better in my hand and the Cuboid is designed for lefties or firing it with your thumb. It's not a huge deal, but I'm right handed and like to fire it with my trigger finger. My hand always covers the screen unless I flip it around and fire it with my thumb or change hands.

They both seem to produce the same vape at the same settings in SS TC mode, but the Cuboid might hit a little harder than the RX200 with the same settings in power mode.

Battery life is great in both. However, 3 batteries are obviously going to outlast dual batteries with everything else being equal.

As to the weight, both feel comparatively hefty. It doesn't bother me though. I'll take something that is smaller, lighter and that I'm less concerned about dropping or losing if I go tooling around.

I have both! I think both are great mods and serve different purposes. If you are looking for a mod to use at home and vape meets, get the RX200. The cuboid is amazing, but it's what I use as a pocket mod now.

I fondled an RX200 last night. Was at an LVS and a guy standing next to me was entertaining the idea of buying one. (He did.) I have to say: Though a mite on the heavy side with the three batteries, the in-the-hand feel ergonomics were terrific.

I don't really want a three-battery mod, but I'm not seeing a dual-18650 I like, and the sole 26650 mod that looks good is too expensive for what it is, IMO. So I may go for an RX200, after all. I have only a 2-bay charger, but I can always charge it in-mod.

I think you probably made the right decision. Cannot fairly judge a product without actually using it, but I'm underwhelmed by the Cuboid. My general impression is that Joyetech built an above-average mod in the eVic-VTC Mini, then low-balled the design and build on the Cuboid to try to hit about the same price point.

I should have my Cuboid SS today. It was bought to fire a Atlantis V2 and a clone Velocity RDA. I will also buy a Cubis for it. Waiting for them to come in at one of my local vape shops.

Vape mail gods willing I should have my RX200 and Herakles Plus Friday or Sat.

For me it's down to:
  • Wismec Reuleaux RX200 (3 x 18650)
  • VaporFlask Stout (1 x 26650)
  • Vaporesso Tarot 200W TC Mod (2 x 18650)
  • A second Joyetech eVic-VTC Mini (1 x 18650)
It's most likely going to be the RX200 or eVic-VTC Mini (again). I like the Stout best, but I feel it's over-priced for what it is. And the Tarot looks good, but it's a complete unknown--including when, if ever, they're going to actually ship product.

I try never to say "never," but the Cuboid is very, very unlikely, for me. Do not like.

The stout is on pre order 38 bucks
I'm looking at it, but I think another cuboid or RX will be my next purchase

That sounds like ordered out of China, somewhere? Yeah... no.

If and when the Stout gets down to what I consider to be a reasonable price from what I consider to be a reasonable vendor: Then I'll consider it. Providing something else hasn't supplanted it, by then.

Was at my local B&M yesterday. The mgr was rockin' an RX200. They don't carry it, but at least I got to fondle it some. A beauty! Was really comfortable to hold even though it was heavy. It's a nice mod !!! Not for everyone. It's a love it, or don't-really-need-it-or-like-it kind of thing. I can appreciate what it is but that's where it ends.

That's right..but I for one will never EVER order anything directly from China.. Your CC can be easily hacked, orders take forever, and God forbid if they mixup and send the wrong item after waiting on that long boat ride to even get here..
No sir, I'm an impatient man, I mean I want it, and I want it NOW..and it will be from a USA vendor, even if It was made in China...besides, I like doing business here in my own country, and with people who understands the English language fluently with a simple phone call or email.. But that's just me, lololo

Have a Designed in Idaho made in China Mod. (I think it's made in China. I'm not sure. I guess it is... then again, I think it's designed in Idaho. I'm not sure of that either, but it vapes well. I'm sure of that)

Not everything. My Vector is from Japan :) (It shows, too.)

And, for the stuff that is from China: That's ok, as long as it's shipped from a U.S. vendor.

Another day and a couple additions to The List. It is now:
  • Wismec Reuleaux RX200 (3 x 18650)
  • VaporFlask Stout (1 x 26650)
  • Vaporesso Tarot 200W TC Mod (2 x 18650)
  • A second Joyetech eVic-VTC Mini (1 x 18650)
  • Kanger KBox 120W or 200W TC Box Mod (2 x 18650)
  • Wismec Classic 150W (2 x 18650)
I'm a bit leery of the Kanger, as a couple of the early adopters have complained of a couple problems with them. Nice looking product, though.

The Wismec Classic 150 is currently looking the best, along with the Stout, RX200 and eVic-VTC Mini. Need to see some user reports on the Classic 150 and Stout, though.

Told you so
That you did. I did not disregard your comments, but companies can and do change their spots, so to say. Looks like Kangertech perhaps did not, however.

Sometimes you have to wonder if these guys have the sense to actually, you know, test the stuff they design before they start manufacturing metric butt-loads of them, and maybe do the same for production samples before shipping product all over the planet?

Kanger is known to put out crappy shit out, they don't care, they for the money, mass produce an item then move on...don't get me wrong they design very good products, but unfortunately like what u said KANGERS QC AINT THERE.
Say never to kanger
