Hi all new here...
Anyhow I'm about at my wits end. I recently just got my new Smok TFv4 in to pair with my Wismec rx200 I have had couple weeks now, and been having issues with both battery life and the mod getting too hot too quickly. First off I have tried the clapton 0.3, the triple, quad, and even the TC Ni .15 coil. I cant go like above 60+ watts because it literally scorches my throat cuz of so much heat/vapor being produced. I am hearing people saying that the sweet spot on say like the T3 coil is 70-80W.,and on T4 110-120W.... but just chain vaping between 50-60W on any of these coils, after like 4-5 five to seven second draws, the mod starts blinking "device to hot", and is very warm in my hand. Before I was using the kanger mini sub-ohm tank vaping between 0.2-0.5 coil on the rx200 and dont remember getting the "device too hot" message so frequently if at all. Is this mod defective or what it should be able to handle 8-10 long hits before getting that message. I've read that message means the CPU chip is overheating over 70C, which also worries me Also I'm using 3 LG chocolate Hg batteries all bought together and charge on a quad Nitrocore bay external charger..i heard charging via USB was unbalanced and cause voltage variances in the batteries. I'm thinking I may have bought a faulty rx200 cuz I've been hearing nothing but stellar reviews about it, and no overheating issues, with people vaping ALOT higher than I have been. Maybe I should of spent extra money on the DNA chip version...please any advice welcome tired of spending more money...
