What kind of builds do you normally do for mechs? I find on my rx i stick more to claptons or clapton styled builds but my mech dosent really like claptons. Best build right now is just 26k wraped loose in flat at 6 wraps at 3mmid.

For me I push it, I do series around a 0.5 with 24g at 3mm
For a single batt mech I use 22g at 3mm and nail it right at 0.2 or I use twisted 28 and 24 and get that about 0.23(Ish)

2 strands of 28 twisted with 24 or one strand each? I tried a twisted 28 build and i wraped a little 32 around it. Not a full clapton style wrap but just a little. But it dosent like the mech. I guesse its hard to shake the clapton mode ive been in

I don't really wanna turn this into a build thread.
I'm not really a trick builder anyway. A good buddy of mine from high school owns a shop and he makes wire. A lot of times he would just give me one of two. Either 24g kanthal wrapped with 28 nichrome. Or braided 2 strands of 30g nichrome with 1 strand of flat 28g kanthal.

For my single battery mechs usually a basic bitch 20 or 22g build. My series builds usually claptons

Hi everyone! So I've had this cuboid all day and only just now had time to throw the batteries in and give it a try. After about three seconds of use I like it!! It IS a brick however. Freakin heavy!! The Cubis tank is nice too, haven't had a dry hit at all. Like that a lot.
A little disappointing that there were a couple of good scuff marks on the screen right out of the box. How does that happen?? I guess I'm the only one that'll notice them.
DH started enclosing my mixing room in the basement today, pretty excited about that. I'm mixing for a lot of friends and want it as clean as possible in there.
Nice dinner you had there Hank. Bout the only thing a bday is good for is getting a really good dinner that you don't have to cook yourself. In my book anyway.
Duty calls... Later peeps

There's a thin sheet of protective plastic on the shiny part. It'll peel off

Why yes. Yes it was. Funny, as I'm peeling it off I'm thinking,,, maybe I should leave this on there, a little protection. Too late, once you start peeling it has to come off. Now it really will get scuffed. . Oh well, nobody's gonna see it but me.
Unless of course I get another case of shinyitis and sell it.
Nahhhhh. I kinda like it so far, even though it's as heavy as a brick.

Thanks to all of you for your suggestions; as always, you're all a great bunch to read from. Since we're not mech or drip folk, I guess we'll just keep seeking until we find the right thing for us.

Since we're both disabled, it's a bit more difficult to do too many things at once. We located some Sony/Panasonic 18650 3500 mAh batteries. With the soon-to-be available SMOK octuple fused Clapton coil heads (we already have the Clapton quads - boy, do they last... the sextuples, too) - we'll get close.

Safely. Our LG 18650 3000 mAhs have passed their tests with no problems, and we get great clouds between 60-100 watts. With TFV4s.

iPV5s? Maybe. We'll keep everyone here at @Whiskey's Corner posted. With love :).

LW & Liz :):)
I didn't think sony or Panasonic had a battery with 3500 mah. or anyone for 18650's
Panasonic, did have a 3300 mah, but it was only a 10a battery. You may wanna double check the specs on that, it doesn't sound like a good candidate for higher power.i could be wrong... but ...

Yeah I have some of those Panasonic batteries, well one, the other one got HOT in a flashlight, so take that for what it's worth, I used em in my vamo but I believe they are 10amp batteries.

Yep, did the exact same play by play in my own head when I took the film off my VTC.
