The pictures are fucking pictures of a perfectly normal example of a Cuboid. Thus my, "Are you serious"
You're the only one not understanding this.

He is a "special snowflake" Can't you see how smart he is? He validates himself by using rhetoric to justify a ridiclouse premise.

He will argue that black is white. He cannot help himself.

Notice how he is not quoting the OP? It is his comments he wishes to direct your attention to. The OP is simply the excuse that enables this behaviour.

From your own links about this " shit product ".

Did you even read them?

Your " Joyetech cuboid looks used (scuffed up scratched screen)

Mine was a little scuffed up to, it is a thin piece of protective plastic over the panel.

Oh wow! You are absolutely right!! Thanks so much for responding to that so quick. I was really upset! Lol

Then this...

The display plate on mine came pristine. Is there a protective film that peels off? If not you have a return issue.

Yes, I was just informed of the protective film and its indeed there so I'm a happy camper now!

And this....

I also thought it was scuffed when I opened the box until I realized that there was a protective film. On another note, I like how the Cuboid displays how many amps you are pulling from your battery as you vape.

From your link regarding - Joyetech Cuboid "atomizer short" error

Yeah never mind. I think the batteries helped do a reset on it. I think my wicks were connecting the posts. Once I cleared it and put in the batteries, it started working again.

And in the same thread..

I did remove the batteries and reinstalled them and that seemed to have fixed it.

No mention in any of your links about the "machine oil", It dosn't even show up in your pics.

I understand why you were reluctant to post the pics now. There ARE NO SCRATCHES ON YOUR DISPLAY. You are an idiot. you should do the right thing, and admit it.

I agree this mod is not right for you. No mod is right for you, they ALL put protective film on the displays.

You deserve 0 benefit of doubt. You have a button rattle. If we are to take your word on that. I think it is your imagination.

I'm still giving you some though, and it bugs me that I am, in you are so stupid you didn't realize your " scratches " are the protective film, and not just trying to maliciously slam a perfetly good product.

I guess your motivations will reveal themselves if you man up and admit you screen isn't scratched.

I pity the shop that has to deal with you.
Hah

You guys seem to forget (or probably purposefully ignore) an essential and critical point while being so deeply drowned in your conspiracy theories (which went to a totally fictional level after the pictures were provided) and while focusing solely on the scratches on the screen or the protective film on it for that matter.

The fact that the mod is NO LONGER FUNCTIONAL, DEAD, DEFECTIVE, OUT OF ORDER, OUT OF SERVICE after less than ONE WEEK OF USE, by giving the message "ATOMIZER SHORT" or "ATOMIZER NOT FOUND" with all tanks and coils that work absolutely perfectly on the other mods I have.

If it was only the screen with everything else working fine I would have not been disappointed enough to start this thread or even have the slightest motive to keep going.

The current condition of the mod

1- THE FIRING BUTTON GETS STUCK IN A CLICKED POSITION OR DOES NOT REGISTER THE CLICK AT ALL LIKE 20% OF THE TIME (WHILE IT WORKED)

2- THE MOD DOES NOT FIRE ANY TANK OR ATOMIZER ANYMORE LIKE EXPLAINED ABOVE

3- NO WHERE IN JOYETECH MATERIAL EITHER ON THEIR WEBSITE OR THE MANUAL INCLUDED IN THE BOX DO THEY SAY OR EVEN REMOTELY EMPLY THAT THE USER SHOULD REMOVE THE PROTECTIVE FILM ON THE SCREEN OR THAT THERE IS EVEN ONE

I wonder why the moderators and administration of this board allow this flaming circus to continue despite my post being 100% legitimate, you wanted pictures I posted them, you said it is one off mod I provided links with people having similar issues so it is not like these problem are unheard of or came from outer space, you said I am being picky and that is all the quality this price would buy I prove otherwise by referring to the quality of Kanger and UWELL products which have similar prices and are manufactured in the same part of the world

You insist that it is a 30 bucks mod when I stated that it sells for 75 bucks in Europe, even the JOYETECH SRP in the UK is about 60 pounds

So moderators why are you allowing the flaming, insults and attacks to continue, what is the logic or reasoning behind that, do you consider this freedom of speech or do you believe that I went to these unbelievable extents to fabricate this event?

Cause your post was ridiculous, so we were just helping to perpetuate the ridiculousness, just not in the way you planned.

Glad i found that there is an ignore function in this forum, now the thread looks much nicer, had i found that function few hours ago my day would have been more pleasant, question is does it ignore quoted posts too? lets see :)

I thought you were ignoring us.

Are you familiar with The Little Boy Who Cried Wolf?

Worst Product Quality in the Universe! Horrible! Horrendous!

What do you expect from a title like that. There are many worse mods. You got a bad one. It happens. Suck it up buttercup.

If you're having mod problems I feel bad for you son. You got 99 problems but a scratch ain't one.

I believe nothing you have complained about at this point.

@VaporJoes @TygerTyger @dr_rox @Whiskey @RMarcusY @Huckleberried please you guys end this silliness now, this thread has served it's purpose already I have got the recommendations and opinions of others for my next mod purchase/replacement and vented a little about my disappointing experience with this product

All points have been addressed and counter arguments responded to fully, I have nothing more to say/add or anymore time to put in this thread, I am not going to spend the rest of my week around this thread or topic

I am returning the mod and getting a refund moving on to more constructive activities so you guys do whatever you think is appropriate with this thread.

I am out of here, no more responses from me, cheers guys.

It is what it is Vapo, as long as the members are not breaking any of our rules , there is nothing I need to do here. The thread will remain open.

for me personally, there is nothing wrong with this mod, besides shit happens! I couldn't read all of the comments, on account I have better things to do. But I would have attempted to try the replacement that the company offered! if it was imitation you just got the real thing if it was real you got one that might work. I've had cheap mods in the past and in my experience this one is quite nice. (personally I started vaping on an mvp when I got the 3.0 it wouldn't charge after 4 months of vaping on a medium wattage. so I know your pain but befor that the mpv and good for me. I think I wore it out personally sub-ohming and vaping high watts.... but regardless you got a bad mod, let the company make it up and if your still not happy then post a negative review!
now I have one question... was there a clear sticker on you mods lcd screen? mine had a bunch of scratches till I relized it was a sticker! just a simple observation! Good Luck!
PS.
Sigelies are pricey but I love em you might wana give em a try!! VAPE ON! ;)

PICTURES ADDED TO ORIGINAL POST: i went through the hassle (and time) of making the pictures forum and publishing friendly and uploading a whole bunch of them (the maximum allowed by the forum) for the sake of those who requested them nicely out of true interest and curiosity, not directed to the bullies and the police-type users in this thread.

Please enjoy,
Cheers!

Time and hassle? This pic took me all of 4 min. My daily routine when I get home, pull my mod and pistol out for a quick wipe down, 2 min. Snapping and uploading the pic, another 2 min. Not a big deal. image.jpeg

I went on a whole wheel gun kick and sold off my autos to finance a sweet ass BBQ gun, then I traded that for '76 F-150 that I turned into a monster lol.

I started off as a wheel gun man myself and have quite a few in my collection. I pocket carried a S&W 637 for almost 10 years then switched back to carrying autos. However, my favorite in the collection is my Ruger New Vaquero in .357. That was a surprise gift from my wife so it will always have a special place in my heart. Me and some work buddies are having a grill, chill and shoot this coming weekend on my property in MD. Between the 10 us we will probably be shooting around 70 guns. Lots of lead and good times to be had. Wish you could join us!

Damn man, me too lol.
Since I moved from the sticks into the city I get less and less hands on time with my guns. I think its honestly a huge reason I got into vaping more.

FWIW: My updated updated list:
  • Wismec Reuleaux RX200 (3 x 18650)
  • VaporFlask Stout (1 x 26650) - eliminated due to battery issues with 26650 batteries
  • Vaporesso Tarot 200W TC Mod (2 x 18650)
  • A second Joyetech eVic-VTC Mini (1 x 18650)
  • Kanger KBox 120W or 200W TC Box Mod (2 x 18650) - re-added as early negative reports appear to have been hasty
  • Wismec Classic 150W (2 x 18650)
  • Pioneer4you IPV5 200W (2 x 18650)
To me the Wismec Classic 150 is currently looking the best, along with the RX200 and eVic-VTC Mini. Need to see some user reports on the Classic 150, Tarot and others, though.

Ha, crazy. Once we left the city and moved to the sticks I went gun crazy and was shooting everyday. So much so I started reloading. But once I started vaping, my gun obsession has kinda taken a back seat. Now I go it back maybe once a month and do a few draw, reload and retention drills and call it a day. I've definitely seen a drop off in my speed and point shoot grouping. I did however get my 3 year old a cricket so once she is old enough to go out with me (I say for my wife says 10) I'll be back to being a full on gun nutting in no time.

I used a .22 Cricket for rabbit for about 6 months after I got into a hell of a motorcycle wreck and destroyed my elbow lol.

Fun little single shot. I'm sure you'll have just as much fun with it as your daughter will.

I taught both my boys to shoot safely and rabbit hunt with a single shot break action Stevens .22LR. The same rifle my Grandpa taught my Dad how to shoot with, and then in turn he taught me and my brother. Made in 1925, bought from a Sears catalog for $11.15. Still have the receipt from Granddad. Damn accurate even out to 100 yards with the adjustable ladder site at the breech. No wind-age though, you had to calculate that in your mind. The stock is solid Chestnut, beautiful wood....

Wow that's aweome. My biggest regret is buying so many polymer guns. They will all get passed down to my daughter. Good guns but wood makes for better heirlooms.

Polys arent bad for a BUG or safe/hide gun. They will be the guns that last and good if SHTF....A few more days Ill have my Kimber CCP II, adding another steel frame to the pack. I do miss my G42 though, hopefully my LGS will have a G43 to replace it with...That Poly is one of my all time favorites.

I bought a 10-22 polymer stock Ruger, found a walnut stock (over size for me) and bought it. Bought the Rifle for $209, and the stock for $125. Put a fixed 4x Leopold on it. It's my pinker and varmint assassinator.

The 10/22 is my fun gun too lol. I love the little 50 round tear drop drums they came out with for them.
I remember when the Atkins accelerator came out for them before the ATF classifieds them as machine guns and everyone lost them in boating accidents. :D

The 10/22 is a must have in any collection. I cherish mine. Perfect companion to my 22/45. As long as the ammo is good they never have a hiccup. Man all this gun talk is making me want to go out and shoot right now.

Years ago I built a 25-06 for gopher assasination operations. Mauser action, with set trigger, Custom button rifled bull barrell, Leopold 25x glass. Nosler 87 grain partition hollowpoints. They came out of the pipe in excess of 3500 fps.

It was not a brush gun, a single twig would disintegrate the bullet, but touching the second trigger was like electricaly firing a blasting cap inside Mr Gopher. Crimson mist, and flying flesh was what you saw through the scope before the muzzle came up. he he he.

I think its wonderfull to see how many vapers are shooters.

New here, but have to comment on this common thread, in this train wreck of a thread.
Guns - got a safe full. I pick them carefully and never sell them.
Bikes - R6 in the garage, sold the last of the race (dirt) bikes last year:(
Vapes - started, almost 6 months ago, no cigs since. I'm very happy about that. Have 3 MODs and was supposed to receive my Cubiod today, but USPS did not deliver.
Nerd - been writing assembler, C or C++ for almost 40 years,

And, used to have a range in the back yard, but it's built up around me, and that's no longer allowed. Thinking it's time to move.
Thanks for all the information and entertainment here, this place fascinates me.

Welcome to VU! Sorry for the thread. lol It happens. There are a lot of knowlelagble ( I know thats not spelled correctly) people here.

Except for us "Silver Contributor Gang " types, most here are really good helpfull people. lol

Looking forward to hear about your Cuboid. I don't own one myself, this thread nearly made me buy one out of spite!

Thanks. I'll report when it gets here. SHOULD be tomorrow.
I hope you plan to use it above .3 ohm coil...the 25A limit is what ruined the device for me...

Nice to see another Coder on the Forum!

Your doing yourself a injustice if your letting that 25A supposed limit get in your way, the Cuboid is just plain good. I got a Rafale in my hands today, using a .2SS at 120W it bumps 19A, no burps, I ain't going to 200W, yet!
BTW, using 2 fresh VTC4's.

Thanks, but yea, I understand the 25A limit. I now have only single 18650 battery mods, and I caved on Cubiod to have my first dual battery mod. I mainly do simple builds on a Velocity and a Glacier 2. Right now both have 22g Kenthal with 4mm center, 8 Wrap dual coils. Works out about 0.31. And I usually run these at only 40w or so. Even the Cubiod is mainly wasted on me.:)
I'm planing to use the Cubiod just at home, with the RDAs (and maybe Aromamizer RTA) and think it will make for less battery changes and will have plenty of headroom to last me for a while. Well, long enough for me to justify buying a DNA 200 mod.:)

And youre telling me it doesnt look like someone dragged it behind their truck and then took a shit on it!? You must have gotten a good one! :D

I honestly dont think the 25amp limit is that big of a deal if your using tanks with pre built coils, I think its more of a turn-off for those that are use to oHming out at .15 in an RDA/RTA.

I think they feel great in the hand, fondled one in a shop the other day.

Its just about perfect for your application, as well as giving you headroom to grow.
