You can add it to your list. I won't add it to mine, for it suffers from the same design flaw in aesthetics that originally turned me off on the Cuboid: Big long piece of shiny black plastic. We hates shiny black plastic, we does.

Interesting, the design concept that attracts me to a product, turns you off of it, currently my favorite "looking" mods are the Cuboid and the iStick TC100W, apart from that "design flaw" have any other observations about it?

I don't think any of my mods are 100% perfect except my mechs, I don't know man you might need to be very selective on what you get if the screen alignment is bugging you. My RX has all kinds of uneven lines on it and so do others so that's out of the question.

And no screen protector on there?? Don't take that to offense I have got some mods that if you didn't peel the edges it's hard to tell.

I CANT STAND SHINY ANYTHING ON ANY PRODUCT!!!! Really I just don't get it, just like my xbox fucking shiny plastic, dust gets on it you wipe it off micro scratches everywhere, just like any device that has a screen same thing. Why they don't do a very minimul display and do the rest matte is beyond me. My OCD kicked in on my mods and a ordered a wrap for a laptop, I just cut out to fit all my screens and stick it on as soon as I take off the protecting cover,

Also put a piece on the top of my mods so my atty doesn't scratch the top.

But yea covering the screens with the buttons in it gets a little more difficult

It is an old habit, i take pictures of all my electronic devices upon unboxing them in case it turns out to be defective later, this one especially shocked me upon opening the box that i took some close ups to show to the store.

People are different, i am a perfectionist when it comes to my personal electronics i like them to be in top quality condition especially when brand new just out of the box, and this is one of the reasons i passed on the RX200 because i did not like the quality of it from the pictures people were posting.

This one was really bad especially when i bought it at a price premium locally, and then found all these cosmetic issues, next the button gets stuck and then next the Atomizer short death shortly after, that was just too much to take, it screamed horrible crappy Chinese quality, not only in looks but also in function!

The screen alignment was bugging me the first 48 hours but then i forgot about it, the scratches kept annoying me every time i looked at the device, if it was only for those i would have not exploded like that, but a sticky button and malfunctioning 510 connection / circuit board? that was more than i could take.

This is by far the worst quality personal electronic product i received in my life, vaping or otherwise, they did not even bother cleaning it properly before packaging it? that is outrageous when it comes to quality control practices for such a large and old manufacturer, they should know better than to let the product leave the factory in that condition.

And no screen protector on there?? Don't take that to offense I have got some mods that if you didn't peel the edges it's hard to tell.

Probably, theoretically at least there should be a screen protector still in there, i would not attempt removing it (or finding out if it is there for that matter) when i am mailing the product back to the store, but even if it is the protective film (given it was actually there) why on earth would it be so badly scratched? they could not figure a way of placing it in there without scratching the hell out of it? that is beyond me to understand.

Long story short, it is totally unacceptable for a brand new product to arrive in this condition no matter how you reason it.

You got a point here aside from that i do not find having this long shiny plastic running along the side of the device looking cheap, it looks somewhat futuristic in my eyes, but this is of course very subjective, to each their opinion.

It's usually scratched from production, they cut to fit from a huge sheet and the plastic is on this sheet from whoever the plastic is from, the sheet gets scratched on the film from being stacked and put into production, so you don't know if the screen under it is scratched.......I'm outta this fucking thread.

Yeah never mind. I think the batteries helped do a reset on it. I think my wicks were connecting the posts. Once I cleared it and put in the batteries, it started working again.

A note to set the bar for what quality we should expect when buying our vaping gear, and when to complain,

My first vaping stuff were from Kangertech, KBOX, SubBOX, and SubVOD along with Subtank V.2 and TOPTANK V.3 as well as UWELL Crown, these are comparably priced Chinese/Asian products in the same price range as the Cuboid and sometimes even MUCH CHEAPER.

The quality of manufacturing, production and packaging of these products was not perfect but was on a totally different level than my Joyetech Cuboid experience here, maybe these products have raised the bar of what i come to expect but they were so different, opening any of these products was like opening an iPhone, perfectly clean and finished, and awesomely packaged, they work very well until now with some minor issues and glitches along the way.

So when buying a vaping product in the range of $50 bucks, more like $75 bucks for us here in Europe with our higher margins and VAT one expects the same quality as what would Kanger produce or a little less, but not much less, i do not expect to receive a product that looks like it had not passed any sort of quality controls whatsoever, and which becomes completely useless and defective within ONE WEEK.

Now if some people's sense of quality or value is so much spoiled from long exposure to ultra low quality Chinese manufacturing and are willing to accept the worst quality possible for their money, then i feel sorry for them and would encourage them to raise the bar slightly for what quality they are willing to accept because China can do much better quality control for $50-75 piece of hardware.

I'll put this as nicely as I possibly can. I consider that an inexpensive mass produced mod. You can get it here for under $40 bucks at times. The worst part of yours seems to be a scratched up screen protector. Those are supposed to be removed by the end user. It's there to protect the actual screen during manufacturing and shipping. If you expect perfection from an inexpensive mass produced mod you are always going to be disappointed.

Maybe you would get better quality from something like a top of the line DNA200 mod or SX Mini ML class. Those are in the $200 range. The thing is no one or no thing is perfect. If you put things through a magnifying glass or white glove inspection I'm sure you see imperfections in even the best (or most expensive) mods. What I'm saying is my expectations would be higher for a $200 mod than they would be for a $40 mod. My main concern with my mods is do they work properly. That's why I've never put a wrap or a cover on any of mine. I consider them tools I use to keep from smoking. If I drop one I expect to pick it up and have it still work. Scratches or dents don't bother me, I consider them giving the mod some character.
