Yeh I don't play any demo cause I don't want that to be me.CS:GO randoms made me start smokinglmao
I have to agree with you on that. I loved 1,2,3,code veronica, but it's something with 4 on up that didn't appeal to me all too well. Part 4 was a good game, but just didn't have that feel to it like the others. I played part 5 on a demo when it leaked too early and thought it was pretty "meh", and i didn't even really bother with 6 tbh. My girlfriend got me part 5 just recently on steam since it was on sale, so her and i play it co-op from time to time. There are topics for a few other things, how about one for video games? But lets *not* make this into a console vs pc war as each platform has it's own advantages and disadvantages, and different people prefer different things for their gaming.
Anyway, I'm about done downloading the new Resident Evil HD Remaster on Steam. Loved that game on the PS1 and now that the original has been remastered and rereleased, I am eager to play it. I've played the newer Resident Evil games, but after 3, they've seemed to mostly suck to me. They lacked that special little something that made the first 3 wonderful games.
I've always been a big gamer and have been collecting retro games for a while now. I've got the N64 logo tattooed on my right arm if that tells you anything.
CoD has grown stale for me. I loved the original MW, the ones before that were ok, but that one kind of perfected the online small map FPS for me. Similar to how CS and Day of Defeat perfected it for PC long before that. From then on it was just more killstreaks, more gimmicks, and just..bleh. Luckily they added the "barebones" option to later MW recreations, without that I would have never played them for more than a couple rounds. CS is truly a masterpiece, though I would say there is one fault in that the amount of mods splits people up so much. Maybe it's just me but I know my buddies all wanted to play different mods or just go with the latest fad mod. It got a bit annoying when the base game was excellent in itself. The modding was great, don't get me wrong, but it was just the sheer amount of them that was annoying. I will say I liked the "revolutionary war" style ones, they were a fun gimmick. The Ski maps were pretty cool. Gungame I thought was designed quite well (gain power as you advance but to win you have to overcome the last few rounds of greatly increased difficulty). Anyways, I love me some FPS, just so many out there I abhorred, a few though I could (and did) play all day.Lately I have been playing lots of Rainbow 6 and from time to time Black Ops 3 but I am quickly losing my joy for COD games.
I picked it up the other day with my buddy. Still working on an opinion.. It's pretty cool, but we're only at level 9-10 I think!! XB1 too!!We need to keep a gaming thread running! Anyone pick up The Division yet? I grabbed it for XB1 on Tuesday and it's pretty slick.
If you've ever played Tom Clancy games, it's a cover-based third person shooter but this time in an MMORPG "lite" package.
I'm only about 8 hours in but the world is rich and detailed. It takes place in NYC after a major virus destroys most of the population and you play the role of a spec-ops homeland agent bent on restoring order to the city. It's an MMO, so there's tons of combat, loot, crafting, and gear grinding.
If anyone has it for XB1 and wants to play, send me a message to GT: organic air

yeah i really want to try that out. i watched the trailer a while ago. at the start it looks like a pretty boring game that you would skip over. by the end it looks like everything you ever wanted in this style of game and some stuff you never thought about but fully agree with to boot. i dont have time for a game like this right now though. i am going to wait until i can give it the attention it looks like it needs/deserves.Factorio
My girlfriend and I are big video game people but it's hard to find 2 player local coop games we enjoy. Diablo 3 is our big obsession right now. I'm thinking of getting back to Borderlands.
