Making coffee can be a Catch-22 situation. How can one be sufficiently awake to deal with the intricacies of making coffee before one has had coffee? For example: I just discovered that you can have nearly everything in place, but you still don't get coffee if you didn't put any water in the brewer. Now trying again.

I have a 2.0 and only use the refillable K-Kup thing. I buy whole bean coffee (fair trade organic) and have a lovely burr grinder. It does a wonderful job, but not as wonderful as pour-over.

I refuse to use the disposable pre-loaded, as they are not recyclable.
For pour-overs we use natural unbleached paper cones.

Allows you to use non-Keurig branded cups, as well as dispensing hot water without holding the button. You can also use all of the "Vue" products....like soup, etc. It also allows you to use the re-fillable original K-Cups and not get the "oops" message.

Ah. I cut the optical reader wire, so I can use any My K-Cup knock off.
