What battery should i use?

Hi!
I want to start vaping again and i wouldl like to buy a kanger topbox mini kit. But i dont know what battery to use.
I watched lot of rewievs and such but i dont know which battery is the best for this device.
and also if u have any experience witht the kanger topbox kit positive or negative just share it with me please

Samsung 25r is your best bet. Others are LG HE2, HE4 or HG2 and the Sony VTC 5 I wouldn't recommend anything else.

That's a good kit for starting out and it has room to grow. Any of the Kangertech or Joyetech kits are good and have room to grow. I have the Joyetech eVic mini and love it.

The LGHG2's might get you a little more life than the rest. Your device has all the built in protection you could ever want as far as amp limits and over-draining is concerned. We sell em at the shop i work at and we've heard nothing but good things about em!

I would say that the LG HG2s are your best bet, followed by the Samsung 25Rs. I am using a mix of both in my mods, and the HG2s have a substantially longer run time than the 25Rs, by a couple of hours. That said, the 25Rs do last me a full day from the time I get up until I get home from work, so not too shabby at all. They actually used to be my battery of choice until I found the LGs.

no, not for vaping. protected batteries can get to hot if you over draw the battery.

your best bet is it to stick with one of the batteries that angrygod mentioned in post #2. particularly the Samsung 25r, that's one of the best batteries available tight now.

There fine and very safe if you vape under 12-15 watts then they shut down.
There current limited and are for low drain use. You need high drain 20 amp unprotected cells.
If there button top style they won't fit. Flat top only

Using a battery at over it's safe current rating can and will cause fire and explosions.
It is a thing with lithium batteries. Any battery really a shorted alkaline battery will do bad things as well.

No I mean the ones that have enough continuous current capacity for the device you are using them in. A 20-30 AMP CDR battery is usually good for most devices. Do not trust the Efest labels for current capacity Trust the Mooch battery chart above.
Good batteries like Sony VTC4's are often cheaper than a mislabelled Efest.

That's right, protective circuitry is limited by the amount of current it can output. There is a fundamental limit here, and it is reached at around 6A. No high-drain cell uses protective circuitry for this reason.

The HG2 is a very good cell.

Definitely, go with the HE4. The HE2 is also good but the HE4 has several advantages like not having to discharge down to 2V to capture its useable capacity. It also deals better with heat.

I use nothing but LG HG2's anymore and I have had most of the top brands. They seem to get better battery life in my 18650 devices.

I also use this kanger topbox mini kit. I am really a battery junkies and would like to try new batteries. However, safety is always the most important things when i use a battery. From now on, i have tried Samsung 25r, sony vtc4, Tesiyi yellow, Efest Purple, LG HG2. Because of enjoying the big cloud, i would like to search for high rate batteries.

Lg HG2's are the best cells you can buy right now for that mod. They offer the longest runtime and are able to safely run that mod at its maximum setting without breaking a sweat.

He2/4, 25R, VTC5 are all comparable but will all run out of juice more quickly than the HG2.

Stay far away from efest, imren, mxjo, etc. Buy ONLY approved LG, Samsung, or Sony cells. (And Sony doesn't want us to use their batteries for vaping, so fuck them.)
