@Taver13, boiling water bath followed immediately by an ice water bath ... then put a pick through the bottom and grab the top with channel locks wrapped in friction tape or electrical tape (yes, duct tape will work in a pinch). If'n that don't break it, bury it in the back yard.
Edit: Pot metal will shatter using this treatment, but I'm figuring it's a machined part.
