Humor me ... this is where I come to blast USPS with juvenile rants which they continue to ignore. So, without additional ado ... My Boxer left NY on 7/2 (last Thursday). Predicted delivery was Monday (yesterfuck'nday). Tracking has it hovering in the fuck'n Bermuda Triangle or some (be)witch wiggled her little nose 'cause it has freak'n disappeared. That sucks, but what's worse is: the 510 connectors that landed in Houston 1pm Saturday haven't managed to make it 'cross town by Tuesday? It's that damn (be)witch ... I knows it.
Oh ... happy Tuesday Piffers. I need some life advice. My pops refused to give up when I refused to install a second search light on his freak'n boat. He has installed it himself. Of course, he cheaped out and bout a 10' lead for a 20' run. So, he spliced in an extension. Should I tell him he's gonna catch his boat on fire 'cause 18ga wire isn't stout enough for a 15' run to a 240 Watt DC search light? Truth told, he's not gonna start a fire, but he's gonna blow a crapload of fuses (I would have cut the power if it wasn't fused). But, should I tell him?

Imho, thats ur pops granted little chance of anything bad happening but if something does and u didnt state ur concerns that woukd be 1 of the worst feelings i say let him kno, again imo

I will humor you with USPS, "I had a box come smashed up last week and I filed a claim and they cut me a check for $50, ha ha that's what they get
Thanks @Taver13, @Donald Bickers & @ottoslaborworks. And, I will share my opinion about his splice with a strong warning. Pops has this problem with not listening. I should mention that I'm the asshole son that let him spend 6 hours a day for a week and a half installing that second search light. When he finally gave up and had fubar'd both search lights, I went down and had'm both working in less than an hour. I only saw the splice job today 'cause I was crawling around in his engine compartment to power the freak'n green LEDs he installed under the swim deck. He had also asked me to repair the splice job, but called me off that repair 'cause he took care of it before I got there. Course he didn't finish closing up the radar arch and my curious ass took a peek, so now I know.
My plan was to spend the $50 on a proper length of 7 conductor wire and simply redo the splice job entirely ... this is why I decided to take the motorcycle to Galveston instead of riding with him. I hadn't realized he'd take off at the ass crack of dawn and try touching the wires again, but he did. Guess I'm gonna take a ride over to his place now.

Good morning folks...couldn't sleep so I figured I'd jump the gun on here and say it before anyone else did. Having a rough time these past couple days. Going in to see my surgeon today and find out what we can do about it. I'm hoping it isn't something that requires another surgery, and if it does, hopefully it's an outpatient/same-day surgery and doesn't require another hospital stay. I'm with @Heather on that one, I HATE fucking hospitals anymore. I was talking to my mother the other day, and she brought up an interesting fact for me...since July 2010, I've spent 252 days/nights in the hospital. That's disgusting and depressing in and of itself. I didn't know she kept track of it, but she sent me a copy of the Excel file she keeps that tracks it. However, I guess I'm making progress in the right direction, because I haven't spent very much time there over the past year, so that's a good thing I guess. Oh well... I'll prepare for the worst later today, but hope for the best.
In regards to our PIF Box 5.1, still no post here from @Sigmardin about whether or not he's gotten the box shipped out? I'm going to shoot him a text here today and find out what's going on. Last I talked to him was on Friday, and he said he would have it shipped out on Monday since no mail was running on Saturday. I'll let you all know when I hear back from him. Not sure what the hold up is.
@Heather I hope you're feeling better...are you still stuck in the hospital yourself too? I hope not for your sake. I know how you feel.
@Vaperjim are you still alive brother? Haven't seen or heard from you in quite awhile. I guess you're having a good time out in Vegas if you're still there. Maybe you have posted and I just overlooked it, I have to admit, I've been trying to keep up, but haven't been doing the best.
@wjohnsonjr what did you decide about you cell phone caddy? I posted that night you offered it up for PIF that I'd be interested in it, but never seen anything else about it. You still interested in getting rid of it? I'd be honored to have that sweet ass thing.
