Thanks @Geauxst the only wire I have is 28-gauge. That's what I use to rebuild my Subtank heads, and also what I use in my RBA I use for trying juices. I've been interested in trying some of the lower gauges for both, just don't want to buy a quantity of it until I try it and know that I'm going to use it. If there isn't any in there after it comes to me I'll shoot you a PM and let you know. Thanks bud.

I actually use both 24&26g to rebuild the Atlantis and subtank stock coils I usually go 6wrap 24g and 8wrap 26g around a 2.5 for a .5ohm reading

Wicked with rayon BTW which is hard

My subtank coils I use the 28 gauge 4 or 5 wraps and somewhere around 1.5 is where I end up. I like the 1.2 stock heads over the .5's... goes through juice slower I think. Maybe I'm doing it all wrong?

No actually you are correct it does burn less liquid but I've become quite addicted to sub ohming and drippers so I prefer the .5cloud chucker over the flavorful 1.2 but honestly for a 1.2 build I'd stay at 28g 26-24 for a 1.2 would take 9-14 wraps ... That's a big coil to be fitting in a coil head... Not that it can't be done though

Yes, yes...that reminds me to get some Rayon to try out of there too. I've been using this cotton bacon I won on one of the VU Live shows awhile back.
I like rayon over most on the market .. Plus its 10.99 for a lifetime supply

Mine will send me notifications on ppl talking or likes for like 3-4 and if I don't check them they stop... Almost like anti spam cause once I check them they start popping up and as long as I check it every 3-4updates I get them all day long

Have you tried putting a vertical coil in the subtank head? I just did it in one of mine as an experiment yesterday, I used a 2.5mm drill bit to wrap it around and got it aligned then I had to use a couple pieces of kanthal to thread a piece of rayon through from either side, which also helps to hold the coil in position. I used 28g (forget how many wraps) it came out to 1.2 ohms and the flavor and vapor production are really awesome. It's great for a tight draw with lots of vapor production.

Yeah the vertical memics the Atlantis stock head and while it does make more clouds and provides more airflow you do lose flavor cause now the air is passing through the coil rather then hitting it and dragging the flavor with it ... At least IMO I prefer the horizontal over vertical except in the vertical beast igow6 quad verts ftw
