So I forget if it was Ben or cruel that said this but I gotta ask @Donald Bickers @Taver13 I and several of my vape friends tasted these V Rod samples and everyone is reporting the same thing that they are "harsh" some said "perfumeish" and a few said "chemically" ... Personally they make me cough and choke up have a nice taste but can't seem to get past the choking up

Most of us sub ohm but I did try in a nautilus at 1.8 ohms I've tried mouth to lung and lung hits small and large but still has it

How are you guys able to vape it there's something I'm missing here that y'all are able to vape it but we aren't and I'm at a lost... Got any suggestions?

I just received the Black one a few days ago, that why I was saying :p
I didn't realize that. Oops, must have missed that post. How do you like it? Now I get the sport car truck reference even better, I'm a dork. Anyways the temp control seems to work the same on both?

I personally feel the whole kit is a waste but just for just the mod at $56, it's not a bad deal, they look good, not to big but does have a little weight but not super heavy, menu is huge but easy to navigate once you learn what's what, comes with protective sleeve...I have no complaints, menu has nice options, lock, stealth mod, puff count, battery meter ......

Thank you for the information. Yeah I don't need the tank, just the mod. I don't want another brand of coils to buy

Apparently I'm used to max VG juice and the samples come in at 50/50 and the red apple don sent prior was 70pg/30vg

So lesson to be learned make sure y'all order the right PG/VG ratio

Oh and side note as I found out alot of my local vendors do 80vg /20pg or 80pg/ 20 VG ... Basically which ever number is higher is what they use but V Rod does first number PG/ second number VG which I think needs to become a standard on all vendors no mater the ratio PG/VG always

@dred you have the evic right? How do you like it? Any negatives to report?

Yes, love it. It shoved the rest of my mods out of rotation. Only negative I have so far is it deciding on its own that I was wrong and it should be in power mode. So, I set the wattage down to 30 in power mode so when it does decide ... I get a flavorless hit (.20 ohm build, so 30W is waaaaay underpowering it) and know I have to pull the atty and force it back into Ti mode.

I don't know why this happens yet ... I think we're waiting on P Busardo's review while he figures this out. The tank that comes with it is crap unless flavorless clouds appeal to you, and the Ti heads for it have well underside juice feed holes. But, it matches. Folks that got the giveaways got software build 1.10, us paying customers got build 1.18. Unlike the SX chips, it is not end user updateable, so if the software gets updated, it's gonna cost to get the update.

You got my cons. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. But, I won't buy a second as a backup till this "smarter than me" farce gets addressed. I'd rather it blow up in my hand than change the settings I input - extreme, but honest. Folks that have one of each TL mod sold so far ... often say it's the best TL, better even than the SX M class's SX350j. If Yihi comes up with a software update to directly support Ti wire vaping, I'm building a custom box to run the SX350j chip. Ti works in all the mods, but its resistance coefficient is half of Ni200's. This means Ti will work on a chip designed for Ni200, but you set the desired temp about 100 degrees lower than what you get with Ti.

I am enough of a dork that I'm not biting at the Pioneer For You IPVs 'cause they use Yihi's second tier SX330j chip. The IPV3Li is very attractive though.

Back to the Evic VT ... it is a win at its street price of ~$55 for the mod.

Editing in something you should know about the Evic before you decide. The TC definitely roots out the quality issues of the Subtank Ni coils. They seem to have problems holding a stable base resistance with the Kanger wrapped coils. They work a treat with RBA base builds though. FWIW, that's a Kanger problem, but the Evic does seem more sensitive to the inconsistencies. Big, big problems with TC on the OG subtank because of the wonky spring loaded positive pin in that atty.

I love me some Duc's! One day, when that maturity thing finds where I've been hiding ... I'm gonna. I'm still not ready for a bike that is faster than my skills can handle.

i agree though, that shit needs to be standardized
I don't see what's wrong with one like y'all have make is left PG right VG most calculators have it set up that way

I mean what's wrong it's saying 30/70 meaning high VG and 70/30 meaning high PG ... Seems simple to me ... Just my 2¢
