My good thing for the day, I think perhaps an angel has come into my life. Not the heavenly kind, not the romantic kind. The kind that somehow helps broken parts of you start healing just by being present.

Kad, I'm so happy to see you posting about this personal renaissance. When you start to fall in love with the world again, your own self is a part of that world. I expect it to keep getting better and better.

Samba of my beating heart
-Coralie Clement

Hopefully this sticks. I couldn't find her topic channel, if she has one.
Thank you, my cat's now think I'm insane. You should have seen the looks they were giving me as I danced around the living room. Or maybe they were just glaring at me for not being able to do anything even remotely resembling Samba dance moves.

The good thing is....put up another long shelf for the kitties. Tossed a stuffed toy mouse up there so this way the kitties would go up there of their own will. Tigglee was the first to give a it go, got up on the east shelf, walked over to the edge and just stood there saying wth you want me to jump over there to get it!?! He didn't jump over there. Tangee got up next to Tigglee and said watch me bro! He jumped right over to the south shelf, grabbed the mouse and brought it down.
Later on tossed the mouse up there again and Tigglee did it, YEY ! Now, toss one up there Tigglee is the only one to go fetch it, but he growls each time without any other kitty around, lol. And, if he is unable to find a mouse he goes straight up to the south shelf to look for one. It's a game for Tigglee, its cute.
Tangees game is, I throw the mouse he fitches it and brings it back to me, pretty cool. It brings me some joy to see him do this. It reminds me of Emma fetching her ball while in the house. Yup, still missing her so much as with Duke.

I had a busy day yesterday. KofC central CA soccer challenge was hosted by our council and I was the chairman. Then we went to my son-in-law's grandmother's 85th birthday party. There were close to 200 people there.

I'm going to be busy tomorrow as well. I'm helping put up and take down flags for Veterans Day. It's something the VFW does in my town. We meet for breakfast after everyone finishes their route and the VFW pays for it.
