Ut Oh, I hope all is OK with Jimi and Jean. @Jimi usually posts by now. I get worried when they are both so sick .
Oh no. I looked at his posts from yesterday, don't see that he was planning to go anywhere today, or take Jean anywhere.

I hope he's just getting a lot of good sleep. The few times in my life that I've ever had a flu, lots of sleeping was how you could tell it was flu and not a cold. Sleeping is when you heal. Anything you do while you're awake is just triage.

People keep referring to a "Covid" but a virus usually doesn't stick around for four years, killing off all of its potential hosts. I'm not sure he doesn't have whatever the mystery fog is bringing down everywhere.

Hoping for the best.

Jimi triggered me when he said he couldn't smell or taste anything, usually the 1st sign of Covid. Yes Covid is still around, my daughter and her 4 kids tested positive around Halloween. Plus Jean taking care of her sick sister, and within a few days, Jimi and Jean are so sick themselves.
Yes some flu's are just as bad if not worse than Covid. Sleeping as much as possible with drinking liquids, soups and teas helps, along with his herbs.

Ya know, I hope all the young people are out helping those that are unable to get out to shovel their sidewalk or driveways and not sitting inside having their faces stuck in their phones and computer screens. If not helping at least playing in the snow, building snow castles, tunnels, igloos, just something so they will enjoy all this snow! A great time for parents to have fun with them as well.
Hope they are taking advantage of this rare opportunity, it doesn't happen too often around here of getting nearly 2 ft of snow.

I know I'm loving it. If Emma and Duke, especially Duke, they would be loving this, Duke would have been in Heavenly snow lol.

Here in south Texas we get a little dusting of snow every 4-5 years, and a big snow of a foot or more every 10-11 years or so. No white stuff around here lately, but it's been really cold the last few days.

I remember one year when we had that rare big snow, when I was a kid, we created a scandal on our block by making a snow lady with boobs, in the front yard. I don't think we ever received as many comments on mom's climbing roses as we received on that snow lady.

They say:

Nobody in Texas owns a snow shovel, so locals have to resort to shooting at the snow.

Texas cancels online classes when it snows.

Texas shuts down quicker for 26 degree weather than for a global pandemic.

Texas snowstorm weather driving tip: Stay home.

Yall say warm now, hear?

Wow- That was quite a bit of snow that dumped on you.
I have about 4 inches of snow here. Usually up here by Lake Ontario we are buried by lake effect snow, the snow cannon is still sleeping where I am, luckily and so far have been spared the feet of snow we have had in the past. This seems to be the 3rd year in a row we have had a mild winter, so far. Freezing cold here with a high of 16F yesterday.
