No matter whether you agree with Greta's climate activism, it is clear to me she is being used as a pole to fly other peoples flags, an accidental crisis actor. She can do written speeches, but stalls and fails in real discussions, which you can see in her filmed attendance at WEF or Davos, I forget which, maybe both. Greta was long ago diagnosed with Aspergers and obsessive compulsive disorder. It was a film about ocean pollution, shown at her school, that was a turning point for a mentally challenged, anorexic, depressed child, giving Greta something to wrap her mind around, stimulating emotion, helping her learn to socialize, to make and execute plans, to engage in life and interact with others. She has no real judgment and could never engage in a debate or consider any opposing view. Greta is clamped onto her truth as a literal crutch. I'm sure that isn't too different from many people.

This video isn't a prank. It was intended. The YouTube channel posting this is Fridays for Future. Their web page says:

FridaysForFuture is a youth-led and -organised movement that began in August 2018, after 15-year-old Greta Thunberg and other young activists sat in front of the Swedish parliament every schoolday for three weeks, to protest against the lack of action on the climate crisis. She posted what she was doing on Instagram and Twitter and it soon went viral.
