We got new kitchen counters put in yesterday. The original tile was just so hard to keep up with the grout so we went with quartz. Looks really nice, EXCEPT... The installers had a saw over cut where the sink goes so that is showing, AND... The counter installers broke off the drain pipe for the sink at the wall. The plumber who was just supposed to install the new sink discovered this today and was not prepared with all the parts to fix this. SO, I'm pissed off at the counter company for damaging the pipe and not telling anyone about it. I called and gave them a piece of my mind, calmly, and respectfully. I sent them pics and they are going to get this resolved. BUT I don't have a kitchen sink I can use today or maybe tomorrow as well and hopefully not over the weekend... GRRRRRRRR...

@gopher_byrd - sorry, sounds like an ordeal and hopefully will be sorted out for you! Workmanship and workers these days are sorely lacking.

I hate contractors. Any time I've had to deal with them, it's always something hair raising.

it was slow for me this mornin too, sometimes when I would click on the site box at the very top of the screen it would cycle, strange.

It is doing the same for me too. It has been working like crap the last few days for me. Long delays and sometimes things post and other times not.

Earlier today when I even tried to click "like" on a post it would take more than 60 seconds to take. Then I had no internet for about an hour. Now that it's back, everything seems fine.

They're messing with that internet kill switch, I tell ya.

I am glad I am not the only one to have these problems, well at least I know it isn't me

Well, working fine and snappy lasted about five minutes before it slowed down again, would take more than 60 seconds to vote "like", and then the like wouldn't even appear on the post. So here's how I fixed it: I went and took a shower. That seems to have worked.

To be fair, it's all the sites I have open, not just VU.
