"I'm sitting here with a sink that cannot be used as SLM broke off the drain pipe at the wall. SLM knows about this as does D. However, I'm still sitting here with an unusable kitchen. I do NOT want to be sitting here over the weekend with an unusable kitchen! What is going to happen?

At the bare minimum I expect D back here tomorrow and I have a working sink tomorrow. YOU folks can work out the details getting D paid!

Fingers started getting pointed at each other so I responded that I don't care who pays who to fix my problem I just want things fixed.

Anyway, the plumber is supposed to be coming tomorrow and I should have a working sink so I have a working kitchen.

In other news please pray for my son-in-laws grandfather's soul who was killed in a traffic accident yesterday. My wife and I took care of the grandkids so he and my daughter could go to the hospital before he passed.

This has not been a fun week of retirement, sigh...

Thanks for the kind thoughts everyone. He was well loved in the community and his last birthday party was so huge they had to have it the DES hall which is one of the largest facilities in town. I've heard that the person who caused the accident was traveling over 100 mph, no word on drugs or alcohol.

The plumber just arrived as I was writing this so I should have a working sink soon!!!

This was a VU screw up double post... sigh

Anyway, the sink is up and working sort of... The HD contracted plumber discovered that my garbage disposal got damaged as well. HD gave us a new one and it will be installed on Monday. I do have to give HD props in getting things fixed without costing me more money and easing my frustrations.
