Yes strange times for sure,
I have a short story for everyone,
We have a couple chipmunks that live under our porch, have for many years. I was getting ready to go out and work in my garden yesterday and when I looked out I seen one of the chipmunks attack a sparrow that was eating some birdseed that my wifey put out for them. The chipmunk downed the bird and started eating it's brains

. It was hot here... Only upper 80's but no wind whatsoever 
made it feel horrible. I watched a documentary about birds, I know, not the same as chipmunks. However, the person documenting the birds habits was quite interesting. He was talking about those cute little House /Purple Finches and not having any kind of seeds to eat
. Well, it turns out they will coup with the situation they are in. Which means...the cute little birdies will either eat dead animals and / or drink the blood of other animals. I was kinda shocked when I heard this. But, they had to survive one way or another way.
That is strange, I guess it's a matter of survival, Rich at the OPC said all rodents will eat flesh, just weird to me

Yeah, it was kinda freaky watching the the finches eat and drink from the dead animals. Made me look differently at the little birdies and other little creatures

Must be the heat making the chipmunk crazy, he had another bird and now we have an injured dove
Only 88 here but the humidity is killer
I hope everyone is having a great day and listening to some good tunes

. When I lived with my dad and bro in an apartment complex, I always felt like I was living in a hotel/motel . I'm pretty sure I pissed off my neighbors while taking showers. I would turn up the tunes 
and sing as loud as the music . Strangely never had any complaints

Damn, it still hasn't rained? That's how it's here upper 80's with humidity and no kind of breeze...it's horrible, sigh !

I’m sure Uber is around here, but we have a bunch of car services that have been around forever, so we use them. By our shopping area, there’s a cab stand. A taxi cab stand, that is!
It does feel impermanent, but houses are a lot of money round here. Eventually we’ll move, and hopefully find a decent place.

The neighbors that called the cops on me, were used to my hubby playing loud music. They like him better, I think, so they probably blamed me for the noise! They’re a nice gay couple and I like them, but they’re really straight laced, no pun! They prolly like the dh since he’s cute and charming. Have a good one tonight and sleep well!

I definitely don't want to watch it My poor mom
has to go out and watch her little doggies to make sure this owl don't come down and grab one of them. It keeps on coming back to try and grab a quick snack

Who knew they go ballistic and attack birds? There are so many comments after the article about birds being attacked by them!! I still wonder if this didn’t start when more chemicals started being used all over the place, but maybe not.
I fed a squirrel about five years ago when we were on our way into our building, and the damn thing was scary almost. I was treating it like “Aww, Mr. Squirrel, you’re so cute, here have some of this muffin”. He was acting like he was going to jump on me to get to the food! I ended up running for the door, afraid he was going to follow. Very weird.

After the attack of the squirrel monsters, I wouldn’t trust owls either. Little dog=tasty snack!
