It does feel impermanent, but houses are a lot of money round here. Eventually we’ll move, and hopefully find a decent place.

They like him better, I think, so they probably blamed me for the noise! They’re a nice gay couple and I like them, but they’re really straight laced, no pun! They prolly like the dh since he’s cute and charming. :teehee:

Otay, (I'm gonna feel like an idiot :facepalm: ) what is a taxi cab stand? Yeah, I've watched, um, House Hunters and houses are way more expensive there than here. I hope you and your husband find a good home, when you two are ready.

Don’t feel bad, I didn’t used to know what a cab stand was either. Lol It’s a fancy name for where cabs can park by the curb and pick up people.
There’s a really exclusive area maybe 10 blocks from us, and houses there are going for millions. It’s crazy! It’s nice and all, but not worth that much money. It’s so snobby.
Thanks for the coffee. I only got a few hours sleep since we get a food delivery from a local farm and it’s supposed to be between 3-6am, but the delivery guy comes when he feels like it. Could be 10pm, or 2:30am, or 6am. I’m always too nervous to really sleep since we missed him one time. Sigh.
Talk to you later, off to try and get motivated.

I would never spend a million(s) on a big ass home. All I think about is cleaning all of it and screw hiring someone to clean it... I would have to be there to watch them clean. Then, I would feel like an lazy ass for not doing it myself.
That's cool to have farm fresh food delivered; first time I've heard of this too. Wow, that's quite a time span and also weird hours of delivery. Hope you were able to get more sleep after the delivery :hug: and you having a good evening :hug:

I can’t see spending that much either. But if you talk to some folks in the neighborhood, they’re like drooling to live there. They don’t let you park there unless you live there, have their own security, etc. A lot of the houses are nice old Tudors, but it’s a very small neighborhood.

There are one or two neighborhoods like that in the city. I used to enjoy driving around and looking at the houses. Of course, the most enjoyable was driving around when there was snow, with Christmas lights on the houses, bushes and such, so pretty :) . I miss just driving around with no where in particular to go. But, with gas prices so high, I don't do it anymore :(

Had to duck out for a bit, my new neighbor's sister heard about how I was treating my cancer and was very interested for her brother,(he was just DX'ed with colon cancer and they have already scared him into starting chemo. She wanted me to go talk to him so I had to go. In just 4 treatments they have him looking like he's gonna die, poor guy is only 36 years old and looks older than my almost 68 year old body:eek::eek:. Going back over to talk to him tomorrow, he already said he wished he would of known before he started chemo:eek::eek:.Prevention is key here my friends, please do all that you can to keep from letting this happen to you.
So here's a fitting song for those who don't watch their health

You are very welcome:hug:, yes I do care about people;). The time is well worth it if I can save even just one person from going through the horrors of modern so called medicine:rolleyes::rolleyes:. I wish someone would of posted all that info so I wouldn't of had to go through it but at least now I can help others find their way:):).
