Last night, I was sitting on the couch and heard something hit the ceiling fan. Idk why I looked down at my feet :eek: saw a wasp sitting on my sandal strap, not even thinking, flicked it off. :facepalm: Duke was right by my feet, thankfully, it didn't land on him ! Finally, found where it landed (right by Duke) and killed it. Stupid things that wake you up right when you're getting ready to go to sleep :xD: :headbang:

I hate them critters. Way back in the 80's when I lived in Sparks, NV, I started to mow my backyard for the first time in the spring. All of a sudden there are sharp pains in my ankles. I look down there are a bunch of yellow jackets stinging me. I go running away from them and a couple had flown up my shirt, so I get stung on my chest as well. Fortunately I'm not allergic, but I had to work a 12 hour overtime shift hurting like hell. I found the nest they had built in one of my flower beds and flooded it with water. I shot them with hornet spray as they came flying out. Die suckers, die!

Oh shit ! That was crazy bad and you had to work :eek: . So glad you are not allergic to them ! I bet it was pure misery. Sorry, that happened to you.
