Just finished skinnin and cannin 7 quarts of fresh maters from my garden:bliss: good to see the shelves start fillin back up;)
How are all my wonderful friends here doin today?:)

May be an image of musical instrument and text that says 'Is it just me, or does anyone findit somewhat strange that there are no tribute bands to George Harrison or John Lennon. Or that perhaps these two artists and their music is too musically 'sacred' and should not be thoughts?'

I love his French phase. Some artists can never explore new creative avenues, and will keep on trying to stay on the road that led them to fame even when the original style and content are no longer authentic in their lives. To me it's far more cool to say "What's next? Can I do that as well as I did other things? Will anybody be interested anymore?" But they do it for themselves, following instinct or whim, for the art of it, for the exploration, for the expansion.

Two days ago sucked....was getting ready to pour boiling hot water into my cup to make tea. Set it down on top of burner to keep the hot kettle off of countertop. Didn't get it on there all the way and spilled all over. While trying to pick up the kettle which still had some very hot water, picked it up and spilled more water, but this time on my finger, burnt the hell out of my finger. Thank goodness for Aleo Vera gel ! It saved my finger from getting a huge blister that would have left half of the finger blistered. But, there is no blister at all ! But, trying to clean up the boiling water while keeping the nice cold gel on the finger wasn't an easy task, lol :facepalm: got it cleaned up and soaked it in the gel.
Later on, got a brilliant idea :rolleyes: hey why not spray Calie, (first time trying to spray her) while spraying Calie with some herbal medicine, she has some kind of skin problem and scratches herself constantly. Boy, did she ever get me on the same finger but other hand, lol. So, soaking one finger and bandaging the other finger, lol. And, still had to hang clothes to dry, it wasn't fun, lol :facepalm:
Lesson.... never do two stupid things on the same day :teehee:

I didn't know gasoline powered mowers were banned in Calif. already. I heard long ago that some districts there banned gasoline leaf blowers, but the yardtards were using them anyway. On Friday I did not hear the leaf blowers next door to me on their usual Friday schedule, and today didn't hear them across the street, so I'm wondering if there was a ban passed here in SA that I wasn't aware of. Dare I hope...

I don't hope for bans of any kind except for leaf blowers, because they create spine scraping noise, and more pollution than what they clean up. But yep, Brandon is working on getting rid of gasoline powered cars. Then there isn't enough grid for everybody to switch to electric cars, not to mention how a replacement battery costs 10k bucks, not to mention how the whole thing goes up in big explosive flames that there just isn't enough water to put out.

And I think Brandon has natural gas confused with gasoline, because he wants to get rid of natural gas stoves and heaters too.
