You have your Protonmail account. It's free, it's clean and quiet. You can gradually migrate everything to it, but it takes time, so you log into both your Yahoo and your Proton every day until your Yahoo is emptied out and finished.

Each time you get a link in your Yahoo, to things you're subscribed to, like Meryl Nass and so forth, you'll have to go into that subscription account and change your email address on it.

The new yahoo mail is really not that bad to use at all, just that it is new and brighter white than the old. Pretty much everything else seems to be the same. Just make sure that All is checked each time. The 3 dots open your spam,and trash mail. Everything I do online is associated with that yahoo email, so I will get used to it, it is weird because it is new, not about to go thru all the trouble to switch it now.

@Jimi, You won't break anything, you're a smart dude.

Click on the three dots then click on Settings. The Settings will open on a new browser tab. Two things to change. In the Personalize Inbox, move the slider button to the left where it says Inbox categories, it will turn grey. Then click on Appearance if you don't like the bright white theme choose the dark theme. When finished close the Settings tab on your browser and reload your Yahoo Mail tab. Everything should be fixed up.

@SnapDragon NY this will get you back to no tabs and a dark theme as well.
