The people we love and the things we love, gathered for a celebration of 2000 pages, 100,000 posts, and the beloved founder of the music game that has brought us so much enjoyment, @2WhiteWolves.
As a child she dreamed of creating a space for music and friends.
As an adult she made it happen.
Thank you Wolfie, for giving us something to be grateful for in a chaotic, dare I even say evil, world. A warm hearth in the cold, a cool breeze in the heat, good company, the things we share.
I'm sure in this instance, I can speak for all of us. We love you Wolfie.
Gawd, me too. We visited my dad's family in Alabama in summers when I was a kid. They had a sustenance farm, you might call it, and they had loads and loads of fresh tomatoes coming in at that time of year. We had that tomato sandwich you describe, white bread, tomato, salt & pepper, mayo, sometimes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nobody ever griped of monotony.
I still make those for myself, but like you, with better bread than the old plain white bread.
Also have lovely memories of picking wild blueberries in the woods, for my aunt to make pies.
Fresh corn on the cob with butter.
Life was simple and sweet.
