Thx for the answer. TA is not the easiest flavor to work with from what I heard. I was more thinking of a general tobacco, not too light, not too dark.I would venture to say Tobacco Absolute. TFA doesn't sell it anymore but you can get it other places. I can always tell when it is in a juice and some like it and others hate it. It is one ingredient I still need in my stash.
What would be a tobacco flavor that you can use in almost all situations, when you want to add a touch of tobacco to a recipe ?
a general tobacco, not too light, not too dark.
Inawera (Wera Garden) Tobacco Absolute Virginia is a good one too, .5% to 2.5%.
Most any Virginia would most likely work also.
Like VZ Virginia Flue Cured.
Flavors Express Virginia, Golden Virginia, & Parler, (ECX carries them).
(These are just plain tobacco flavors without spices, nuts, caramels, etc).
BTW some of these are quite strong so for example, 2.5% is on the high end.
That makes me want to add it to my cart. For now I'll put it on my WL for later. The description says something about a Kentucky tobacco. It didn't really scream out to me.That is exactly how I'd describe FA Burley, 0.5% as an addition.

Tobacco Express Virginia
INW VA Tobacco Absolute get my vote too.
Yup same thing as what I was calling Flavors Express Virginia.
Totally forgot about that one, also great IMO.
Also was using a bit of INW DNB.
Pretty much have moved away from tobaccos now though.
ETA: but yeah -- the Tobacco Express Virginia was the only Virginia flavoring I found that didn't taste like rotten celery or fermented hay.
Assuming you haven't, you should try INW's Tobacco Absolute Garuda WG. It's excellent at 1% in a mix if you want to add just the right amount of that fresh, grassy note to a tobacco flavor.
My suggestion to the OP's question would be one of Hangsen's Hava, Smooth, Cigar, Cuban, or RY3. To me, they all have a very similar flavor, so no real need to pick all of them up. Each provides a great cigarette/cigar base note to a flavor, that to my palate at least is very accurate and authentic tasting.
Nor hay, nor rotten celery, nor anything along those lines. Ick.I never could find any explanation for what "Garuda" is or what it means, but if it's "grassy," then no thanks!!! That's not the kind of grass I wanna smoke.Nor hay, nor rotten celery, nor anything along those lines. Ick.

Well, describe to me what a "virginia" tobacco is supposed to taste like. Maybe I'm off base, but I thought a "fresh, grassiness" was the main part of what makes "virginia" tobacco taste like "virginia" tobacco. lol
I need to get my hands on that, keep forgetting. Maybe I should do it right now so I don't forget. Also the new Flavorah Kentucky Blend can fit into many recipies
where did you get that? thanksI agree about INW Tobacco Absolute Virginia as being the most "all -purpose". With INW Garuda following for a lighter flavor and FLV Cured Tobacco as a heavier alternative.
Bull City Flavors is usually where I order from. Some of the new Flavorah choices you may have to get directly from their store.where did you get that? thanks
This question isn't quite full DIY, but enough for me that I need to ask.
I'm about to purchase a RY4 eliquid at 18mg/ml. I assume it would be an additive to premade eliquid. 1oz in an already 18mg liquid, such as vanilla would seem appropriate?
(And yes, I need to read up on straight DIY since I have so much nic and flavors.)

It's not really clear what you're asking...? You just want to add some 18mg RY4 to another 18mg ejuice?
Hell I thought you were a DIYer already!

Yeah. I know. I've had a bunch of personal issues to deal with, then I pass out from exhaustion. Once I get on the computer it's all sales, catching up and quick visits here. I WILL start DIY 101 next week.
My question is if I purchase premade liquid that is RY4 stating to be 18mg/ml @ 30ml bottle, I add it to other liquids or just vape it alone? The latter doesn't sound right to me. Just checking. Good to chat with you again, g'friend.

Pre-mixed juice with NIC is usually vaped "as is", but nothing says you can't add things to it, or add it to other things.

Now, if I can just remember where I had it in my cart. I hate when I don't write things down.
Based on what I've read this far, I think an Excel spreadsheet is in order to keep track. Any time I tweak it, I can adjust the spreadsheet. What kinds of flavors are you in to , Heabob? (I bought so much flavoring not knowing what I was doing. I'll surely need to unload a LOT of what I have and concentrate on flavors I really like. Creamy I like since I'm still high nic.
I use vanilla and a few drops of menthol. Quite smooth.
