Sputnik has been reunited with it's owners and they were just getting ready to print out lost cat flyers, I turned down the reward since I have never accepted rewards for returning animals ever in my life...the only reward is knowing the animal has been successfully and safely reunited with it's owner/family, that makes my day more then anything else in world.
OIC...Well, be sad while you enjoy your day off then. Cry tears of joy.it's not a bummer day if it's a day off work. hi

yeah once a cat gets a taste of the outdoors, its difficult to keep them in. and if you try to contain them, they will make your life a living hell pestering you to let them out. been there, done that.Lol and I did ask them, Sputnik is an escape artist and must of escaped when their grand kids were over...Sputnik is an indoor cat (not declawed though), which made me cringe knowing this cat rarely goes outside and safely traveled 12 miles with no injuries. They said Sputnik has escaped only 2 times and he is 4 years old...this will be his 2nd time and he tends to travel far.
Majority of my cats (lost count after 20 in my lifetime) were outdoor cats and only came back home for some serious TLC, food, and catnip sessions then back outside for days on end. I never worried about my cats since they would always travel with each other plus the other neighbors cats (hoodlums). My cat shadow was a beast, she had killed not one but 3 raccoon's (that we know of) and other small animals plus birds...we caught her swimming in the creek on a extremely hot day...she loved water. Then we had a cat named Rocky Dumbs, he didn't survive to long cause he had a tendency to sleep on the road. We tried so hard to keep him inside but he would always manage to escape.
