I'm going thru the same thing. I am not a shopaholic! Far from it. But I've always loved a good deal. For some reason, that quality combined with vape mail turns me into a psycho. I feel like there's something wrong with me. I'm tense, edgy, strungout. I had to abandon that Black Friday thread and come hear because I was getting into trouble*sigh*..........nope, "I gave up looking....I really wanted to try that stupid thing and everyone's sold out. All the sales going on are killing me...I am going to get nothing but vape mail for Christmas...I crossed the line into a vapie weirdo this year because everyone in the house is giving me that look like I am crazy this year.

To distinguish here between influence and imitation is refreshing and might be extended to more mundane objects. Authentic and clone tend dominate the language of originality in these here parts. It's a very confining and conservative opposition. I only wish "cloned" designs (oxymoron I know) were created more as influenced designs, whereby they could be as great of covers in music can be. Creative enough make you all but forget the original. I see a few here and there, but otherwise a vast majority of missed opportunities.Excuse for bending your thought to one currently on my mind.

sorry, my 4 favorite authors when i was young were Tolstoy, who's long winded like Tolkein, Tolkein, esp the Simarillion and Unfinished Tales, Stephen Donaldson, The Thomas Covenant Trilogies and my fav, Fyodor Dostoyevsky. just cuz he was crazy.
