I saw your post about those and thought the glass thickness was reasonable for the size that it was, and it was the quartz glass which I thought was a little stronger than regular glass, but no such luck.
I've been busy dealing with personal crap all week and haven't contacted them yet, but still think I'm going to look into getting some pyrex tube and just make my own replacement tanks. It looks like you can get a variety of sizes on Amazon the base itself for the tube measures at 18.91-18.92 mm and the O-ring measures right at 19mm.

Hey ya'll.
Quartz has a higher melting point than borosilicate (Pyrex is just a brand name), quartz glass at 3029°F and borosilicate at 1508°F. I never really understood why they use quartz for tank tubes. Not at the temps that attys go to, and useage. Who is going to take their tank and put it in a hydrogen/oxygen flame and then plunge it into cold water? Nobody. Besides, at room temperature, glass is glass is glass and it can all be brittle, especially thin wall.
