Yeahhhh... we're ahead! Too close though.

Oh, I got my Jinamod "Wood Fairy Mod" clone....I like it. :)
Took me a sec to figure out what that extra part was - it's a shorter 510 battery adjust knob.

It's a bit fiddly to assemble, but considering all of the parts, and how often I'd need to adjust it, that is fine.
It's a $20 clone of a $180 mod after all. =)

Comparison shot. It's holding up a full Fogger v4 with just the stock spring....better than my old Sentinel v3 is...lol
The button does come fully apart. Monster hunk of copper for a battery contact.
I'll need to get a better spring, but that is pretty normal. it may fit magnets too, but haven't tried yet.

This is the most realistic color. It's purple. Goes with the brass nicely.
Brass seems to be clear-coated on the exterior-showing areas, we'll see how long that lasts before I strip it.

Threads and switch are pretty awesome, a bit squeaky at first, but with a bit of loob are very nice.
Fit and finish seems really great except for one apparently natural oopsie in the wood on one area. Pretty sure I can sand it smooth as it's not really noticeable unless you look for it.

Very nice. The only thing I'm disliking about my Apollo right now is that I need to build my coils higher so that my initial wattage on a fresh battery is lower. Most of my juices taste best in the 9-12.5 range with a couple dipping down into the 7-8 range.

Yeah, you know about the coil apps I'm sure? Makes it pretty easy to build to spec. :)

Man, the wood on this mod feels so velvety...so comfy after years of cold metal mods. :D
( yes, I know that sounds kinky..I'm ok with that. ;) )

The one reviewer who said his tubes moved around must not know how to adjust them..no gaps here and no battery rattle either. Tried button-top red Efest and my shortest/old/sorta-scrunched grey panny and they both work.

Yep, I prefer steam-engine but do look at coiltoy sometimes. I just find that the level of control and different views for every piece of the puzzle is better.
I just really needed more experience building to understand the variables that affect my personal vaping preferences.

Does the voting run until midnight or something?? I didn't see where there is a cut-off time.

"VOTING ENDS: DECEMBER 31, 2014"

Just because we get ahead, doesn't mean it's over, right?
And even if we don't win, it doesn't mean we're not the best.

@kelli and @MrScaryZ drink lots of water, get sleep (no matter how much you want to be here) we'll always be here. We want you to get well and sorry you feel so awful. Don't forget the chicken soup.
