Yesterday was an incredibly long day... daughter calls saying that the wind is cutting through her at around -10 while she walks around campus, so I get to spend my day trying to find her a long winter parka when everyone is starting to rotate their winter stock out and their spring stock in.
Find one and drive 30 minutes to pick it up and it is the short version of a coat with the same name Go back to searching on-line and discover that Zappos.com sells coats and I'm finally able to find one in stock in her size and it's getting delivered on Tuesday (crossed fingers) only cost me a small fortune... guess it's going to be Ramen and PBJ for the rest of the month
Finally about 11 I realize that the reason why my sinus' have been so dry is most likely because I didn't turn on the whole house humidifier on our furnace... sure enough it is off. So after I get that sorted, I notice that our sump pump is running.
It's winter so I figure it's a good idea to open the sump pit and make sure that everything is going okay... of course it isn't. The water level is just below the trigger for our sump alarm. Head out into the snow at about midnight to find the discharge pipe and of course it is dry with no ice to be found meaning that it is frozen somewhere underground or at the house where it comes through the wall.
Really long story cut off... spent the entire night running a pipe from the pit to a sewage discharge pipe for our water softener and now I hurt like hell and look like an old man hobbling around the house (no wise cracks @Just Me)

I've had to use a 510-510 adapter on my old K100 and the Chana30 because the K100 is just worn out and I gotta protect the weak threads on the Chana. These do that, but with style and they also gives me an adjustable copper 510!!
Protecting the copper 510 and threads on the Panzer is plus too...a perfect match with the TOBH!
Gotta like the sci-fi/steampunk look they add too...
I also found that the foam box insert they came in, with the holes, it makes a nice little atty holder for my desk.

Congrats Zam. Bet you will be very glad to be able to give them back at the end of a day when they are in the terrible twos!Tonight I got a belated Christmas gift. My older son called and informed me that he is going to be a father - of TWINS! Both he and his wife are in a bit of freakout mode at the moment. My wife is giddy, giggling and happier than I have seen her in a long time. So it looks as if I'm going to be a Granddad.

Got my Venturi RDA today from AngelCigs. Probably will spend tomorrow messing around with it. Never built anything besides a Aga T2 so this will be a first for me.

Unfortunately, now that she isn't playing softball anymore, she has become, well... fun-sized... and trying to track down a woman's 2xl parka in IN is literally like trying to find a needle in a haystack, especially one that is knee length to protect her legs during her very long walks across campus. Ball State is really spread out like Purdue.
It was either a nice parka or enough real jeans and thermals to get her through 3 or 4 days without having to do laundry constantly. I think that the coat is a better route to go so she isn't boiling when she is indoors.

I feel bad for you guys that have to endure that cold. All we have to do over here in Puget sound is just wrap the outside spigots. It doesn't get cold enuf to worry about the super cold getting into the walls and freezing the pipes in there.I hear what really suks about frozen pipes is you don't know it until it thaws. Or no water flow.
