Hey, @moecat , since you're here - question? Would you have an either/or suggestion on opening up the juice channels on the subtank mini? One person simply filed openings on the rba cap where it meets the juice channels on the deck. Others finished reaming out the channels completely through. Is there a preference? I'm referring to the rba decks that Kanger is supposed to be 're-doing'.

I didn't do the Clorox Bath that the doc suggested...I had an abscess on my butt well between the gooch and anus, very bloody painful but pain is slowly subsiding due to the drainage, lidocaine (lots and lots and lots), and oxy's. Oddly enough and I hope I don't start drama with saying this but every doc and nurse who has violated my butt (not really...just trying to make people laugh here) are ladies. I really do feel bad for them than I feeling embarrassed (I am a man is all I will state on that note).

And don't feel bad for those docs. I personally know a few docs and nurses and they enjoy their work, or else they wouldn't be there.
It takes a certain type to be a doc. And a lot of them develop a morbid sense of humor in order to be able to deal with death and suffering on a daily basis. It's like....have you ever been intrigued with popping pimples? That's their mentality only on a monumental level!

Thanks Trip. Whatever it was I'm glad you didn't post it. I am just too damn sensitive about certain subjects, especially child and animal abuse. I just get traumatized by that shit! Some members put a warning button up which gives us a choice. I like that.

Sorry I don't own the Subtank, nor do I do any type of modification on my tanks. I just use "as is."

Before I modded the channels I'd make sure I'd tried "Overwicking" it... I have no idea why it works on the STmini but it does. I literally cant get anymore cotton through the coil on mine, with the tails just touching the deck and it works wonderfully at 20W. If you have tried everything and just have one of the first run bunk units please disregard this advice and mod away. p.s., If you just modded the chamber cap would it always line up after being removed?

I would line it up first, mark it, then file. Yeah, I have one first run and two second runs with full through juice channels that work just fine.

Yes, very happy. I did end up hiring a guy to do it, but I was his helper. REALLY good thing I hired him too! Those 4 extra boxes weren't really extra. We had 2 pieces left. I was shitting bricks towards the end. lol

The laminate was only available online. I checked about a week ago (doomsday prepping lol) and there was no more to be had...so yeah I was nervous as hell!
