And it fires. Reading at .28 on my mod.
I just went after it. Wanted to try a build like this see what it did. Looks healthy now on to the taste. If it works well I'll build it on my dual atty mod.

I certainly can figure it out. Easy, It's the gosh darned United States Post Office.
I'm expecting a package from Dallas that should have been here today but isn't.
It was somewhere in Opa-Locka where it allegedly left a 5:52 AM but apparently never got to my PO.
I could walk from Opa-Locka to my PO..Every single time I order something I end up having to call USPS customer service.
Then you get the fucking computer that says "customer service isn't available now".
Oh yeah!!!? Why then does their site say they're available from 8 AM - 8:30 PM?
The trick then is to say "agent" every time the computer says anything. Eventually, after 40 or 50 times of this it gives up
and connects you. Of course, then you gotta wait on hold. 45 minutes later...tracer.
Then maybe if you're lucky they find and deliver your goods.

Couple of months back I had a two day priority package show up five days after I had a tracer put on it.
Customer service said, "Two day priority doesn't mean it'll get delivered in two days"
Doesn't surprise me though. I used to have a girlfriend that's a mail handler...STUPID.
Besides, it's the gosh darned United States Postal Service

It sounds like for you and Vapature its the last mile that is causing the trouble. It's really particular people I think. Hell, I rushed out the door to get a package in the carriers hand when they were delivering and she noticed it was UPS not USPS return mail. I thanked her for catching the mistake and she took it back and said I'm stopping there anyway and will drop it for you. Now that's service!

Probably doesn't hurt that USPS has a contract now to deliver UPS packages in a lot of areas. UPS handles pretty much everything except the leg to the customer. They drop them off at the local PO and USPS updates the tracking from there.
Really sort of ticked me off the first time it happened to me because I specifically used UPS to avoid USPS. Now I don't bother spending the extra money and just use USPS for pretty much everything.

One of my guitar playing buddies says bright blinking colored lights do that to him.

So after I got them (I didn't know), he and his wife asked if we can not use them in my jam room when he's here. I love the guy and his wife is a great gal too, so they collect dust when they're here.
Rapidly flashing lights, ceiling fans, and the thin metal slat mini-blinds do a number on me.

Thanks for the avatar swap @vaperature (whatever it was) and looking out for me @franciscan.

Thanks for the UPS / USPS connection update. I send packages for people who ask for UPS when it costs a 1/3 more. I'll have to research and maybe gain enough knowledge to tell them they are wasting their money (which I already thought).

It's a special cut rate UPS service and it's horrible. They just drop off their entire truck at the post office and then USPS gets to it whenever they feel like it.

Only a cut rate between UPS and USPS though. Not a service that we can make a choice between. Mainly see it in areas and days where/when it doesn't make sense for UPS to send a truck to the house.

I'm pretty sure it's called UPS Surepost, similar to Fed eX Smartpost. You have the choice, just make sure you're not sending it Surepost.

Vaperature's got me the most. The first one was funny. But the second one had me laughing out loud in public (daughter's gymnastics practice). I sure those Moms think I nuts now. If only they knew what I was reading...

I don't know what's so funny about my package. They think just because it's a holiday I don't need my package? I don't want my package all sprawled out overnight in the back of a truck on top of someone else's package, or squooshed inside a big pile of foreign packages of all sizes, shapes and colors. What ever happened to tending to my package through rain, sleet or snow?

Interesting. I've never actually seen "Surepost" as an option. Will have to keep an eye out for that. Wonder if they decided to make it an option after all the complaints they received from people who paid for UPS and expected it to be delivered by UPS.

I feel for you. I had to take quite a few a while back. Packing for a trip was crazy. Get them all sorted. Back ups. Carry on. Plan for flight cancellation. Make sure there is enough for whole trip. Fight with insurers to advance. But that is in my past. Probably future too, but all is good now. From what little I can read between the lines, it does not seem you get a break or can travel.

Have only ventured from the house a couple of times in the last 2 years. Actually just passed my last surgery date on the 29th

I'm up to 11 daily meds, 1 pain patch, and 3 as-needed meds... and none of them are anything related to anything that could be improved by lifestyle changes :(

Oh well, we all have challenges in life. It's how we deal with them that makes the difference.

Good morning everyone. Been busy; hope I didn't miss any goodbyes that I can't say now. Bye bye @franciscan see you soon:)

Wisdom: Human Relationships
“Thank you” is a miraculous expression. We feel good when we say it, and we feel good when we hear it. When we speak or hear the words “thank you,” the armor falls from our hearts and we can communicate on the deepest level.
