One of my local B&M's must have bought too many original Aromamizer tanks back in the day, they had a handful of 'em sitting on the discount shelf for $4.99! Never picked one of these up when they came out way back when, but thought they looked interesting. For 5 bucks, figured it wouldn't hurt.

Initial impressions were OK, but I thought it could use a few tweaks to fit my needs. First off, I drilled out the feed holes in the RBA "deck". I make/use max VG juice, which usually works out to be around 88-92 VG. After 4-5 hits in a row I could tell it was getting dangerously close to dry hit territory, but now I haven't had any issues.

After that, I decided to lop off part of the top cap. For two main reasons, first being, I didn't care for the way it looked, just too high. Plus, if I tried to use any other drip tip that was slightly larger in OD than the stock tip, there was overhang, which looked ridiculous. Second being, I figured if I could lower the drip tip about 1/4" or so, the flavor/vapor would be more intense. Closer your mouth is to the coils, better flavor, usually. In the end, it worked out as expected, I get better flavor. And some of my larger 510 drip tips fit flush without looking wonky.

I know this is an old tank, but lately, especially with the mods, I've been using this more than some of my newer gear. Still can't stand that silicone AFC ring, but other than that, it's a spot on "flavor chasing" tank.

Haha, well maybe I'll have to buy that when it comes out. Mess around with it, make a new thread and title it "steam crave DNA mod mods" ;)
